Pittsburgh 4/19, On the Road Again

This is wonderful. I did have to remove the word "in" the line 3 to get it to scan, but no matter. This game starts at 6:40. Wonderful! Almost all of the upcoming games are at reasonable times, early-bird specials for the grannies. Geaux, Sox! Do what @LynnRice75 told you.

In the front office, demanding that Brez get Iggy?

I just got back from the eye doctor and I believe I may not need glasses anymore. Not sure, but if so, does that mean I should PH for Bobby the next time he's in the lineup? I head the Sox near-comeback in the car. Don't know about y'all, but I would appreciate their winning this game.

    4/18 vs Guardians

Last night's game was so enjoyable, even with one eye closed. (Cataract surgery yesterday.) No matter what happens this season, we'll always have that 1:49 to look back on. Geaux, Sox!

4/16 - vs Cleveland - in which Dalbec finally gets a hit

My vow never to watch Kenley Jansen pitch is working out, in a way, except last night when I checked back the game was still going on, and I had to turn it off and watch a movie so I could sleep. The combination of injuries and a number of relief pitchers turning into pumpkins is the death knell...

Yep. He's always been good reliever. But that wasn't good enough for the Sox.

Nice AB by Masa. Unfortunately, hit hard right to the second baseman.

Could we play Bingo instead of watching this crap? I didn't know that was an option!

Uh, the Run Prevention ain't working tonight. Let's hope Whitlock isn't tiring already, despite being in the Best Shape of His Career.

I should have known that; but I still admire his defensive chops.

Remember when Tony Kemp made that great catch in the Orioles series? The Os have DFA'd him and the Twins have signed him to a minors deal. I guess he couldn't hit, but I think he's a better infielder than some of our subs.

    4/15 Borel's Million Dalbecs

Yeah, they are stuck with Devers. I wonder if he could hear the message that he mustn't drift back, that if it's behind him it's probably the LF's ball to catch.

I was making lunch, but I was pretty sure what happened. Spouse kept saying he has a concussion, and I kept saying, not necessarily in this guy's case. Anyway, he needs to be a DH. What a shame, I'll really miss Masa.

Did anybody see Snell's start last night against the Rays? Our front office smartly decided to go with these young guys, like Crawford, who is amazing me, no matter what happens with this at bat.

How often have brothers hit back-to-back in baseball history?

Haha. You accidentally quoted from V&N there, and of course those of us who have banned are not allowed to see that. Nice to see Duran getting a hit. Now, get him over, Raffy, please. Edit: dammit.
