Dalbec sent down to AAA (recalled to BOS on 4/12)

The one position Belt can play is the one Dalbec has hardly played all year. If they signed Belt and fired Dalbec into the sun that wouldn't help them right now even if Belt can still hit.

    2023-2024 Women’s College Basketball

She won almost 1000 games and went to something like 20 ncaa tournaments before Clark, most of that with Iowa. The Davidson comparisons were always dumb.

Raptors' Jontay Porter banned from NBA for betting on games

NBA/WNBA/G League makes every employee fill out a background check that includes information about gambling, even the ones that have access to limited info that could be useful in gambling, it's insane to think that every player doesn't know 10000% that BETTING AGAINST THEIR OWN TEAM or FIXING A...

Raptors' Jontay Porter banned from NBA for betting on games

No one with a brain could possibly think that betting on their own team to lose wasn't a big deal, nevermind the prop bet fixing that was also clearly a big deal. Of course he fucking knew, the dumb part was just thinking he wouldn't get caught or that the NBA wouldn't drop the hammer on him.

He's still ridiculously good at both ends of the floor when healthy, what exactly is uninspired about that?

    Team USA 2024

If the goal is to build the best TEAM, and not just put the 12 best individual players on the floor, Holiday is a much better pick for the team than Brunson. Holiday has a clear role as the by far best defensive guard on that team if they ever need him to lock someone down, Brunson is great but...

    2023-24 Celtics

Considering they're only 2 wins from not having to play elimination playoff games before playing a fully rested 1 or 2 seed (or not playing them because they lost, since anything can happen in those play in games), not trying in the regular season and just assuming that you'll win and no one...

    NCAA Men's Final Four Thread

Shot clock is always a team turnover, or at least it's supposed to be, I've seen a few college games where it was incorrectly credited to the player and never fixed. NBA and wnba games almost always end up with perfect correct stats, minus the judgement calls that come up on plays like...

    NCAA Men's Final Four Thread

You're probably right, especially since it didn't really matter with it being a meaningless turnover seconds before the game ended the stats crew would just be focused on ending the game and getting stats printouts and game books for everyone that wanted them (considering I know how many copies...

    NCAA Men's Final Four Thread

It's in the official final stat book as a shot clock turnover. Though that doesn't necessarily mean it shouldn't have been a different type of turnover, just that that's how the stat crew entered it

Dalbec sent down to AAA (recalled to BOS on 4/12)

He raked in 20, though that could have been small sample size luck with his .394 babip in only 92 PAs, or pitchers not knowing how to attack him. He really didn't rake in 21 except against lefties, overall he was a slightly above average hitter, which isn't nearly good enough for his putrid...

    Bronny declares for NBA draft

Of course this could also be a big nothing burger and he could just be doing what every decent underclassman college player should be doing. Go through the pre draft process, talk to teams, practice against good competition, and then make a decision. It's possible he isn't even a decent college...

    2024 NBA Draft

Because I was responding to someone questioning if he'd be on an active roster. Fucking Jordan Walsh has seen the floor this year, of course Edey will see it at some point.

    2024 NBA Draft

Considering 45 of the top 46 players drafted this year have played in the NBA this year (the 1 that hasn't was drafted 31st and didn't sign and is currently playing in Europe) I feel pretty confident that he'll be on an active roster for at least part of next year.

    2024 NBA Draft

My take was that a guy who is listed in the first round of nearly all if not every mock draft will be in the NBA next year, Reggie's take was that that same player won't be in the NBA next year. He could easily never become anything, but there's basically no chance he isn't in the NBA next year.
