    I would also recommend using Grz or Forbort as a salary offset + other (s) to Calgary. Trading for and extending Hanifin is a good move for this year and beyond. We need another impact piece to tighten the overall D.

    I agree an additional LHD (preferably Hanifin) and a center should be their priority. I think it would take a massive overpay for Ullmark for Sweeney to move him at the deadline. This year's team is structured with the goalies and their rotation as being one of their significant premium assets...

    Put Bertuzzi back with Coyle's line. Debrusk belongs with Patrice & Marchand. Keep the Czech line together. We missed Lindholm today. Good 3rd period, mailed in the 1st 2 periods and it costs us.

    Ideally a forward that who can ride with Coyle & Hall but I doubt it is possible at this point. They like Nosek so a 4th line of Frederic, Hathaway and Foligno doesn't seem possible.

    Terrific trade by Trader Donnie. Orlov and Hathaway move the needle. Great pieces to add for the playoff run.

    Solid pickups for the Leafs. The East is going to be royal battle with us, Carolina, Toronto and the Bolts. Hopefully, Donnie will close on some impact pieces soon. My preference is still Chychrun at this point who would create a Big Boy top 4 in front of Ullmark and has cost effective term.

    Since Horvat is off the table, Chychrun is the right move and hope they go in that direction. They clearly are concerned with Grz playing top 4 minutes and staying healthy. A Chychrun - McAvoy, Lindholm - Carlo top 4 is the right answer.

    I agree with cshea, Toews seems to make the most sense. We could also use another Big Man on D, ideally a 3D type.
