Downloaded Google Play movies/TV shows: where are they?

Anybody know where the movie/tv files are stored after download from Google Play on a Chromebook? (yes I looked in the Files/Downloads app) Is there a workaround for Google's obvious hiding of these files? Can these files be copied onto a flash drive to play on another machine?
