    Using a top 10 pick on Penix is legitimately banana-land crazy stuff after signing a brand new QB to a 4 year deal. I think I'd cut Cousins some slack on being pretty confused by the pick.

    Agreed. Trading Yoshida for an overpriced 3B of similar value might sound nice until you realize that hypothetical player is likely to be terrible. If he can be close to competent at 3B defensively, the hitting will be horrific (otherwise, that player would be far more valuable than Yoshida)...

    Not really, over doing it in the batting cage I guess. It’s almost all based on symptoms at this point. Unlikely to be less than a month if they’re sure it’s an acute fracture. Beyond that, I doubt anyone knows.

    What is the purpose of the last 2 minute report? I guess an attempt at transparency but there are always so many missed/bad calls, everyone is still unhappy, and even the report itself often has questionable conclusions. Seems like a nice idea in theory but not sure I see the point in practice.

    There were 20 uncalled fouls in the last minute. The last 2 minute report (do those still happen?) will be comical or they'll just have to lie. Super embarrassing for the NBA to have the refs lose control of a playoff game like that...though admittedly fun to watch since I had no real rooting...
