For those not aware, this is a classic Austin Gomez match, only 1:30 in. He’s known for trying to go big but often ends up putting himself in danger.

I wish ESPN would find another job for Quinn Kessenich. Real-time, post-match interviews are inherently painful, but he turns the pain up a notch. I don’t know what happened in their relationship with Billy Baldwin, but bring him back. I can’t recall who’s doing the PBP, but he’s ok. They’ve...

Bears trade Fields to Pittsburgh for 6th rounder (potentially 4th)

They hired Smith with the explicit purpose of running the ball more. I can’t imagine Wilson or anyone else isn’t aware of this. Specific comparisons to past workplaces notwithstanding, I guess we’ll have to see how he fares in a run-heavy offense. Omar Khan came into free agency with only...

Championship Weekend: Chiefs @ Ravens, Lions @ 49ers

I don’t have a problem with Campbell going for 4th when he twice could have kicked FGs. The fumble and dropped Reynolds passes were awful for them. Running on the last drive was a poor decision, but the time out was the worst of them all. It reeked of a failure to understand the consequences of...

Now I’m going to have to root for the asteroid in two weeks.

It’s not so much the run call as it is the TO. Whatever time they would have lost in setting up to run the next play isn’t worse than the 40 seconds where they couldn’t stop the clock when they were out of timeouts and SF had the ball back.

Someone’s going to have to explain that timeout. I think Campbell conferred with Mike Tomlin after Montgomery got stuffed.

It’s an open ocean song, not a mountain song, Chevrolet.

The Lions skill players don’t suffer for getting forward yards after contact or catch.

I don’t know if I would have called that a “cheap shot,” Greg.
