    What is your theory for why?  My guess would be that home runs are down, so pitchers are more willing to challenging hitters.

      I would pass as well.  At the very least, Braun has some bad judgement.   It would be hard for me to root for the guy.

      Freese battled a back injury this year.  If he gets over that then he could be a pretty good addition (high OBP, some pop), but back injuries tend to be chronic and get worse over time.     I am not all that impressed by Bourjos, so I am glad that it looks like the Red Sox won't be acquiring...

    A's to play home games in San Francisco?

    Clearly the A's don't like it but it is a great park from a fan's perspective: good public transportation, lots of parking and easy freeway access, good food, decent sight lines. I don't think these decisions have much to do with doing what's best for the fans or city. We have these ball parks...
