    What is next for BB?

It's known that Bill can grudge with the best of them (Hello Tom Jackson and Charley Casserly...) so my assumption is that the Goodell bridge is not worth burning in his eyes. That's what's best for the team (BB) despite the history. Maybe there's also a bit of keep your enemies close in play...

Joe Mazzulla officially named head coach

I know Scal has been calling for more on-ball pressure and I think everything really does start there. Make MIA's non-pure ball handlers - especially Herro - uncomfortable. I think that's why PP was an actual defensive asset. He dogs the ball handler incessantly. I'm wondering if MIA counters...

2024 Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round: (3) Milwaukee Bucks vs (6) Indiana Pacers

100%. I don't even think Doc is a bad coach - on the contrary. But the excuse making drives me crazy. Did you know that the PP/KG/Ray Cs never lost a play-off series when they were healthy?

2024 Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round: (3) Milwaukee Bucks vs (6) Indiana Pacers

Of course it does! It matters that Dame is hurt as well. But you don't stand up in front of everybody and make excuses, especially in the present when you are in the middle of a still winnable series. Loser mentality.

2024 Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round: (2) New York Knicks vs (7) Philadelphia 76ers - The Danse Macabre

Nurse is one of the most demonstrative coaches in the league. He obviously wanted the ball inbounded as a preference as he didn't immediately call time-out. When he finally appeared to, obviously to avoid the 5-seconds, it was pretty calm and passive. Alas. On the second attempted call, play was...

2024 Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round: (2) New York Knicks vs (7) Philadelphia 76ers - The Danse Macabre

Dr. Nurse is hugely demonstrative…but Thibs is king of the bitter beer face.

2024 Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round: (2) New York Knicks vs (7) Philadelphia 76ers - The Danse Macabre

No doubt. I also admire his soft touch…but I find his demeanor hard to stomach. He tends toward being chippy and dramatic. If we wore green I’d feel better about him…

2024 Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round: (2) New York Knicks vs (7) Philadelphia 76ers - The Danse Macabre

I have more of an issue with the media glorifying the Knicks…like basketball deserves and needs a great Knicks team. Otherwise I pretty much nothing them. They haven’t been relevant.

2024 Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round: (2) New York Knicks vs (7) Philadelphia 76ers - The Danse Macabre

PHI is a top 3 loathe in my house barely behind the LAL and MIA. Will not, can not root for them.

2024 Playoffs Eastern Conference First Round: (2) New York Knicks vs (7) Philadelphia 76ers - The Danse Macabre

The play looked weird because it’s usually Embiid dropping dramatically like a sack of dirt. Very good no call.

Eliot Wolf will be in charge of the personnel department,

I have two thoughts: 1. Words vs. actions - I'll pause my grading of the new regime until I see the results of the actions. I don't think I'm alone here from reading most of these comments. It was a press conference. (Side note: the previous regime's results were pretty frickin' good) 2. There...

That was then: Celebrating what was

I always sensed that BB didn't like Welker as much as Edelman and that factors in my mind. There's the whole Rex Ryan thing which clearly BB deemed disrespectful and the block Welker made as a Bronco on Talib which BB took exception to...and that's countered with the clear mutual love shared on...

That was then: Celebrating what was

I'm right there with you. Like everyone else, I was doing the maths. My wife, who's a bit of a (looking over my shoulder to makes sure she isn't in the room...) front runner, stopped watching in the first half after the pick six. She had come back into the room after the Pats score to see how...
