A fun to watch Watford and a hard to figure Spurs kick us off.

Are Tottenham fans sick of watching Son go down blind alleys and taking shots from bad positions with open teammates yet? I don’t like Spurs and it drives me nuts.

The 718
Watford should have win this game. Deeney missed a pen. They were the better side throughout.

I wonder if we could crowdfund a campaign to pay NBC more than Nugenix so we don't have to see Frank Thomas again.

VAR saves Palace’s ass with a good decision. Ball went off Riedewald’s foot and and deflected into his hand. Originally called a penalty then overturned.

Now Indiana Vassilev is making his EPL debut for Aston Villa. Nice day for American kids.

Leipzig looking really sweet against Onion.

Here's a stream.

Adams' technique is looking OK, though he's missed a few key passes. His fitness, on the other hand - it's 60' right now and he's already jogging it in, clearly not able to keep up the pace righ tnow.

California. Duh.
Anyone else wish they were hanging out with Seven Costanza just as Newcastle scores a 94th minute winner against Chelsea?

Burnley turn it around on Leicester - saved penalty at 1-1 by Pope, Westwood scores off a poorly defended cross by Evans, and it's 2-1 deep into stoppage time now

VVD!

Edit: ManU have been playing very well in the middle of the park, lots of energy in the press. But this set up looks a lot like what ManU rolled out last time, and it's tough to beat Liverpool by rolling out the same tactics twice.

That sky backdrop has been stunning in several shots. The VVD celebration with the purple sky was gorgeous.

Is Harry Maguire really captain material? He seems... Dumb.

VVD is going to go through half a dozen Nike shirts per match. He gets yanked constantly and they’re made of tissue paper.

Oh boy. But brilliant stiker by Firmino.

Edit: Seems like it should be called back for a foul on VVD.

Sorry, that’s not a foul. That’s bailing out weak hands from the keeper. If there’s a doubt, you punch.

Le Saux says VVD was “leading with his arm”. LOL.
He had no idea where De Gea was. They drifted together.

You are absolutely allowed to challenge a keeper. They are taught to raise a knee for protection and detection of an opponent when the eye is on the ball. De Gea made a bad decision to catch and got bailed out.

Not sure why the ref is swallowing his whistle here. Liverpool getting chippy, not long before this devolves further.

Notable change I see this time from Pool is that TAA is staying back while Robertson pushes forward. They're daring James & AWB to get in behind.
