I’m taking my daughter to the game tonight. Win one for littleq. Sink the Suns!

Looks like Kemba and Jaylen are out, per John Karalis on Twitter.

I know it's the regular season, so to some extent who cares, but I feel like we haven't seen this team all play together in months, every game someone new is out.

I have been trying to keep this in mind. Flu has knocked guys out, Hayward’s hand, Smart’s...everything, the Jays, Theis has dealt with some stuff here and there.

No coincidence they have not been humming as consistently as they were before.

I think this is just what load management looks like. It leads to some ugliness, but we’ll see how it evolves when we get to the final third or so.
Not sure there's really been that much load management involved, which makes these absences all the more frustrating. The injuries and illnesses have, for the most part, been legit. (Tatum's sitting out the Detroit game the other night qualified as load management, I think.)

Celtics official: Kemba Walker (left knee soreness) - OUT
Jaylen is also out (thumb) so it's up to Tatum and Hayward.

Update:
Kemba Walker got an MRI on his sore knee that came back clean. He will not be able to play tonight and Coach Stevens says he doesn’t get the impression that this will be a long-term injury.

Maybe, I guess there are different degrees of load management. If this was a playoff game, Kemba and Jaylen would undoubtedly be playing. Don't teams have to give a reason for sitting out other than just resting?

I agree that some of these recent absences have been borderline at best, but Hayward's injuries and Kemba's and Smart's illnesses, and Time Lord's assorted problems, appear to be legit.

Tatum looked good in pregame hitting most of his shots. Hope it portends a big night for him.

You might want to sit this one out chief.
Baynes will get a big cheer from an intelligent Garden crowd.

Aron is pretty worn down after playing all Summer with Team Oz and big minutes earlier this season while Ayton served his suspension.

Oh man. Where to start? Brad, tell Smart he needs to take no more than 5 three-point shots a game. He's on pace for about 30.

Hayward looks a bit sloppy, but it seems like he's moving well and trying to be aggressive, which is a plus
