I feel like City should have a perfect record since they signed Haaland. He’s a goddamn cheat code.
it’s weird. In the United game he made so many runs and they just didn’t feed him. I think the adjustment period for playing with him is taking longer than some thought it would because like you I think he looks like he should be scoring a hat trick a game.

I do wonder if City would be more dominant with Kane because of his build up play but Haaland is insane.

my only hope is that he stays for 3-4 years then heads to Spain.

KDB not being himself may have a lot to do with it. When he’s at his world-beating best he’s probably setting assist records as fast as Haaland can finish.

United man marked KDB and the wingers didn’t make them pay. It still took the mother of all bullshit decisions to turn that around. City aren’t flying but having Mahrez find some form has improved a lot. Grealish being more or less useless has really hurt as Foden has disappeared from Peps plans.

The major difference between City and Arsenal right now is that Martinelli and Saka are giving teams fits and City’s wingers have been trivially easy to show inside to help and force a pass and recycle of possession. That gets papered over when KDB does something magical but the entire Pep system is about getting wingers in space attacking the back line and City aren’t doing it well enough or consistently enough. Personally I wish Pep would stop playing inverted wingers so going outside would be an option but every week I get to watch Grealish gracefully dribble into3 men from a promising wide position and pass it back to Rodri

Re: Haaland and Manchester City, I saw this Tifo video about the topic last night. The thought is that Haaland staying so central (as all good strikers do) has changed the way they play from last season. They aren’t doing the same intricate passing on the left side that drew defenses over and left acres of space on the right for Mahrez to exploit.

Trossard on the roster, starting in the bench for Arsenal.

A few players back from injury and and all of a sudden Arsenal's depth looking much better:
Trossard, ESR, Tomiyasu, Tierney, Vieira.

Rashford's a guy that regardless of team, I'm happy to see do really well. Great goal.

Gunners are feeling like a team of destiny right now. They have the added benefit of not being a Manchester side.

Spurs really need to come out and not only win, but churn out a good, complete performance.

If it weren't for Gooner fans, I'd begrudgingly respect this team. That not being the case, I will respect them in disgust.
It’s Partey. Gooner fans aside, watching a guy that should be in prison pulling the strings is… Not good. I feel like it would be a lot easier to breathe through this if it was cleaner.

Spurs took a lot of pressure that half, but looked much better over the final ten minutes and Kane got them the goal.

Watching that replay again boy it looks like Son was pissed about getting roughed up with no calls and intentionally stepped on whoever that was

Fulham was a lot more physical in the first half, but Spurs have been much tougher in the second half and are banging right with them.

you know who's not looking half bad for Fulham, is Willian. I'd written him off. Seems like he's turned the clock back a bit. He's not going to make Todd Boehly's Southern PL All-Star XI, but he's a pain in the ass out there on the left wing.

Issa Diop, the CB for Fulham, has really impressed me the last few times I've watched Fulham. Great size, reads the game well, very active

Really good game for Emerson. Rock solid on defense and got himself into some good positions on offense.

Emerson is a really solid defensive fullback. But he's a poor fit for Conte's system because Conte requires a lot of possession contribution from his wingbacks and Emerson lacks on-ball quality.

Is there really significant crossover in these fanbases? There is no scenario where I’m watching WWE. None.

As far as sports go, EPL and WWE have to be the biggest weekly watched programs on Peacock, so it's all brand synergy.

If they’re looking for a crossover star, one that could transition seamlessly between the sports…
