Weird Spurs lineup. Can't say I have a ton of confidence in a back three of Davies, Sanchez and Llenglet.

Welcome back, Potter! With Trousard playing Babarino & Ruben Loftus-Cheek was Washington.

Pulisic just missed a sitter.

Edit: on the replay we can see the ball spinning pretty hard, but he should have buried it.

Palace looking so good against Southampton so far, which means Southampton is almost definitely going to score the first goal.

not sure how the Chelsea formation is supposed to work but both WB-outside CB defensive pairings are getting absolutely abused.

Conte really got this team wrong today. No creativity whatsoever in the midfield and a weak backline. Brutal game for Spurs.

Last few weeks have brought into sharp relief that Deki is practically the only really creative player in the squad.

Incisive from Hojberg there though.

A total gift from the Bournemouth keeper allows Tottenham to equalize.

Spurs steal it at the death. Harsh on Bournemouth.
I dunno, when the worst team in the league from set pieces concedes 20+ corners to the best team in the league from set pieces, the loss is pretty much what you’d expect I think.

Diego Costa with a headbutt. Red card. 12th of his career.
But first in the EPL? I’d imagine he’d have quite a few more if VAR was around for longer.

I hate him so fucking much. He’s the embodiment of everything I dislike about on-field behavior. Undeniably talented, but a fake hard, thug, diver, and instigator. I have no patience for that shit.

Aaaaaaaahhhhh that’s a nice Brighton score line. Couldn’t watch this morning, can’t wait to get the full 90 in later.

Messi is quietly reminding everybody who the GOAT really is and twisting the knife into Cristiano this year at PSG. 12 goals and 13 assists across all comps in about 1500 minutes so far.

It has been said many times and proven wrong but I actually think this PSG team might be capable of doing some CL damage in the spring. Their midfield and fullbacks are so much better and more energetic than they have been in the past and Galtier is a good manager.

I’ve always thought mentality was PSG’s weakest link. There wasn’t anybody capable of keeping the hotter heads cool (Di Maria and Neymar in particular). When they brought in Wijnaldum I thought they had at least spotted the problem and were addressing it, but he felll into a black hole and they signed Ramos at the same time so… Yeah.

They certainly haven’t consistently had anybody domestic to use to sharpen the sword, either.

I agree that Galtier with this mix of guys feels like a more serious European threat than they’ve posed recently.

And it’s always been Messi over Ronaldo for me.

I’d like to see Carvalho for Thiago here and get pushing forward.

Cooper’s gonna be seeing Salah in his nightmares tonight.

Bamford’s gonna be seeing Bamford in his nightmares tonight.

Liverpool are doing their part to keep American unemployment low.
