Andy Brickley's potty mouth
As someone who has never played.. can you tell me what they're doing differently this year? Just changing directions to go up ice a lot faster and looking for as quick an outlet as possible?
Well, to be fair, they have more defenseman that can move it through the neutral zone than maybe ever. However, you can see they are moving forward in the neutral zone constantly and not setting up on the boards.

I had the game on my screen with the World Series on while I worked on studying for my Calculus test Thursday. I swear I looked down to work one problem when it was 2-2, and it was 5-2 by the time I looked up.

The comeback started as soon as I close my book after finishing my last problem of the night.

Therefore, I quit Calculus.

You might be able to turn this into a theorem

Fluto wrote a piece on Monty’s planned system changes right before the start of the season…eye test seems he’s on point.

I wouldn't go that far. Injuries have always been the story.
Maybe so. But this is a better brand of hockey with a lot of the same dudes. And I didn't say he would be "to blame" - I said he would be blamed.

One of the many kooky things about this incredible comeback.
.
In total, 13 different Bruins players recorded a point in the win. Hampus Lindholm was the only Bruin with a multi-point game. A pretty wild stat line for a wild game.

I was at the Columbus game. There were three Bruins fans sitting behind me and one of them thought he was Mr. Hockey Knowqledge. He said the Bruins were a great team, but when he started talking about individual players almost everyone sucked. The only two players he seemed to like were Bergeron and DeBrusk. He predicted that under Monty, DeBrusk would be better than Marchand. Whatever.

The guy Mr. Hockey Knowledge hated the most was Lindholm. “You see what they spent 8 million dollars (Yes, I know) on!“ was a constant refrain.

I‘d like to run into that guy tonight.

It's got to be pretty rare for a goalie pulled for getting shelled to come back in for the win.

Anyone have a shot heat map for last season vs this season? I absolutely think the average shot has moved about 10 feet closer to the goal line.

Another great win. Monty has done a great job. I hope Swayman is ok. Lindholm has been terrific with McAvoy out to start the season.

All I'm saying is the last time we traded for a really good Northern European LHD midseason followed by a disappointing playoff exit, we took home the Cup the following season. That's all I'm saying.
