Agreed. He seems a little off tonight. But he's a fucking beast when he is right.
Even tonight he’s 10 for 56 yards and has absolutely trucked a few guys. Rham is awesome and is the shiny new toy, but Damien is a top 10 rb in the nfl

and folk is a top 2 kicker

Pats offense left a lot of points on the field. Too many penalties. Some tough sacks taken by Mac. The bad interception. Some really conservative play-calling. Overall, not a great effort for the offense.

The DE-Fense was outstanding obviously. Ferocious.

Bunch of special teams penalties, some bad sacks due to screwups by line and QB on blitzes.. it's been a bit sloppy.
By that measure then every game is a bit sloppy. But that’s just my opinion.

I guess I just don’t see the point. If Thursday football really is sloppier, either it contributes to greater variance and more upset potential or it doesn’t. And the statistics say that it doesn’t. So why can’t you measure a team by a Thursday game?

Edit: I would say that er should judge any team by a single game - Thursday or any other day.

Just dropping into the gamethread to say Judon is starting to give me McGinest/Harrison type vibes as the tone setter for a championship calibur defense.

Any win is good in the NFL. On Thursday on the road? Get the fuck back on the plane. Never look back.
