Ended up not getting any garbage time... I'd be OK with a lot of players resting tomorrow.
Its spring break on the follow. Everyone is going 40+ if needed. JK, but this team is in good shape heading into the break. These guys will enjoy getting a few non NBA days over the next week. Some more than others of course.

What did you all think of the Celtics playing that 2-1-2 zone? Scal brought it up a few times, mentioning that they don't get enough pressure on the ball in that configuration.
I think it's going to be matchup dependent in the playoffs, Joe will just work on it regardless of the opponent now. It will be a weapon against certain lineups or if the team needs a curveball. It's like holding off on calling TOs. Joe is using the regular season to work on things, put the team in certain situations all with the idea of having a deeper bag for the playoffs. That's why I think the Joe hate is so short sighted, he's working towards a bigger goal and if it comes at the cost of a game or two now so be it

Thanks. Yeah it seems like Joe is experimenting a lot during the regular season both with lineups and playcalling. I don't have the trained eye some of you have but I don't remember him doing this quite so much a year ago.

I can't remember which personnel specifically the Nets had the floor at that juncture but the 2-1-2 is supposed to be effective when the opponent relies more on dribble penetration.

Anyways thought it was interesting.

Sure seemed like they were consciously having Jaylen initiate offense in the half court for maybe a half dozen possessions late in the 4th. Wasn’t great, but he did have a pretty nice drive and kick to White for an important 3 to bring it from 6 to 9. Then they decided to get serious and have Tatum initiate in the end.
