Bruins looked pretty jetlagged last time out - only mustering a 50.8% expected goals (5v5) against an abysmal Kraken squad. But they got the job done, secured 2 points and produced further reasons for optimism. DeBrusk seems energized by his 1RW assignment, as he should. Pasta is firing lasers on-net again. The two goals they gave up were on brainfart line changes that should (hopefully) get ironed out pretty quickly.

The Sharks are another bad team. Two points again, please.

Caps lost to Philly today, so WC1 is there for the taking. (B's still have two games in hand after tonight.)

On the hall interference penalty, the ref arm was down the entire time (sitting right in line with the ref view). Then he saw the guy writhing in pain so his arm shot up.

Asshole B's fan in our section tonight. Shows up blasted, screaming "let's go bruins" and dropping f-bombs every 20-30 seconds, and ranting about how he needs goals for his -1.5 bet to hit, etc. Got into it with a mom behind him who was there with her 3 year old, just the absolute worst.

Worst part - is a bay area local, not from Boston. Learned this after telling him he made people from Boston look bad.

Swayman was big. DeBrusk looked good again. Bergeron, Marchand, and McAvoy are always a treat to watch.
