South Carolina threatening again in the top of the sixth, runners on first and second with no outs.
UNC gets out of it after only giving up one run. 4-2 SC headed into the bottom of the sixth.

That force play at second to end it was one of the slowest out calls I've ever seen. Seemed like a good three second delay. Is that the same guy that umped game 1?

How good a prospect is Nola? His stats are phenomenal but most mock drafts have him [only] in the mid to late 1st round. He's touted as a control pitcher but the scouting reports also say he throws in the low to mid 90s. That's pretty good for a control pitcher and his stats are awesome.RedOctober3829 said:

Sounds of the game reveals the ump being a mini asshole in this UNC-LSU game. Not sure what the kid did, but the announcers were defending the player.
UNC beats LSU 4-2 behind 7 strong innings from freshman Trent Thornton. LSU left 13 men on base, most of which were left on by Raph Rhymes. UNC will play the loser of UCLA/NCSU on Thursday.
NCSU is not starting Rodon tonight against UNC. I'm sure if things go bad he will be in there quickly.
Is there a 2014 College Baseball thread yet? I am going to go see Oregon State @ Utah right now, going in kind of blind...
