The AL Cy Young race is pretty interesting this year.  Here are the candidates in my opinion, with record, ERA, WHIP and Ks:

Felix- 14-5, 2.12, .92, 217
Kluber- 14-9, 2.47, 1.10, 223
Lester- 14-10, 2.52, 1.10, 199
Sale- 11-3, 2.09, .94, 183
Richards- 13-4, 2.61, 1.04, 164

As I write this Kluber is on his way to winning his 15th game, with one run given up through 8.

Sale has only pitched 155 innings, compared with 212 for Felix, 204 for Kluber (now 212), and 199 for Lester.  Felix probably wins if the vote was today, but I'd love to see Kluber win.

In the NL there's no way Kershaw doesn't win even though he missed a few starts in April, despite how great Cueto and Wainwright have been.  Kershaw's K/BB is 7.8 and his ERA is more than a half run better than Cueto's.

I think Felix gets it based on name recognition. Not that his season isn't fantastic statistically. But Kluber has been much more under the radar and plays for a Cleveland team that didn't distinguish themselves. SEA had the Cano signing and was fairly competitive for a decent chunk of the season.
