Given the depth, it will be very interesting to see who ends up performing the best in camp. That should give us a window into how advanced the really young guys are (18-19) versus the older guys (post college, 21+, etc.). This camp should attract a decent amount of attention, given the most recent focus on developing through the draft.

Surprised there's no Grzelcyk this year, too.

Knee injury,  will miss part of next year as well.

Word is Matt Grzelcyk recovering from May knee surgery. That's why he won't be at Bs camp. Likely to miss regular-season games.

No, 4 years. He's their property until 8/15/16. With NCAA players, NHL clubs hold the players rights through the players class graduating year. So Grzelcyk is a senior, they have his rights until 8/15/16 to get him under contract. McIntyre was different because he red-shirted his freshman year.

Edit: CHL is 2 years since that's when they'd be graduating from the CHL anyway.

McIntyre didn't red shirt.  His case gets more complicated because he spent 2 years in the USHL before enrolling in college.

Haggs wouldn't know goalie skates from figure skates when it comes to evaluating talent. I would take everything he says with more than a grain or two of salt.

DJ Bean's notes only really said Jake DeBrusk impressed him. Said he looked a lot bigger than he was listed, and looks like he will develop into a very strong NHL player. He was also impressed with his size.

As for Haggs, certainly true, but he was one of only two people who I found articles on this morning and I'm looking for updates on these guys. Looks like Senyshn has some really good size, skill and speed, but he looks like he will take some time to mature.

Any reports from Kirk? About the only guy I trust.

No reports that I can find, but he's tweeted about it. https://twitter.com/kluedeke29

Some of his tweets:

-- Finds O'Gara to have great footwork.Said he looks fluid, agile and will be a great pro.
-- Is impressed with JFK (Forsbach-Karlsson)'s work in space.
-- Also, there apparently is a live feed of development camp (https://sites.google.com/site/youviewsports/youviewsports-home-page/ristuccia-arena-wilmington-ma)

Really happy to hear that Noel Acciari is impressing.  Great kid and led that PC team through their Frozen Four run.  Local kid who went to Bishop Hendricken (Rocco Baldelli's HS) so he's going to be a fan favorite for the P-Bruins and would be a Jimmy Hayes local favorite in Boston too.

Looks like Danton Heinen was the star of the show today, as Haggs had him as the number one star and Amalie Benjamin also wrote an article singing his praises at camp today.

He's a really intriguing prospect who's made huge improvements in the last 2 years. He couldn't get on a major junior team 2 years ago, had a very good season in a second level junior league, then made a huge jump to the NCAA and had an even better season statistically.

If he can continue anywhere near this rate of improvement he's going to be an NHL player. Sounds like physically he still has a lot of room to grow too so he has that going for him too

Heinen and Senyshyn are the two guys that intrigue me the most out of this group based on their perceived (somewhat nebulous) upsides.  The reports of both of them looking like highly skilled NHL players in a very deep prospect group is very encouraging.  I'm excited to see these two grow over the next year and see where we are at this time next year.
