I know. I'm just trying to mush Spieth so there is some golf drama.
Well then you're helping my team which you tried to mush earlier too. You can't win here.

Make that 17 minutes. Oh well, it was glorious.

I'm still jealous.  My wife informed me this morning that she scheduled a belated Easter Dinner with my brother's family at 5:00 today.  The only saving grace is it's at a restaurant owned by family friends, with televisions in the bar area, and they've already saved us seating where I'll have a clear view of a big screen.  Still pissed because Masters Sunday is meant to be seen on your couch, alone, uninterrupted by anyone.

That's insane. She told you this morning?

234 yard par 3, with a hole cut like 15 feet from the front, which is protected by a bunker.   It's a little downhill, but for most of us, we're hitting a wood of some sort into that, and have no shot of stopping the ball on the green, never mind near the hole.  These guys are nuking 5 and 6 irons, with loft and getting the ball to bite on greens that resemble concrete.  It's literally absurd.

Yep, and usually she knows better.  She doesn't make any plans for me at all from September 1st-February 1st, because of football season, but this apparently was a last minute conversation with my sister-in-law yesterday.  We didn't get a chance to see them or get the kids/cousins together last week, so here we are.  I was pretty close to irate this morning, but nothing I can do at this point.

Somebody needs to call you at the restaurant with an "emergency" that you must attend to until around 7:00.

Back to back holes where Spieth hit pretty much a perfect approach, but the ball didn't take the ridge like it normally does.  Could end up costing him three shots.  He's got to feel good about the swing though.  He's hitting it right where he wants to.

At least you can watch at the restaurant. There are worse things.

Believe so. I think he's birdied 6 of his last 7 holes going back to yesterday.

I think it's 7 of his last 8.   Pretty sure he birdied 5 of his last 6 yesterday.

Spieth's putting is really, really fucking good.

That putt by Phil. Wow. Missed by a pube's width.

Spieth continues to impress. Great make there.

For Ryder Cup purposes, I think we have our answer to Rory and his name is Jordan.
And Reed could be the answer to Poulter.

It's rest of the roster that worries me.

I like Faldo but his Rose homerism is getting a bit annoying.
I don't hate him but I feel like he talks a lot but doesn't say a fucking thing. I can't remember the last time I learned something from him. Combine that with Nantz's self important wind-baggery and it's tough to take at times.

Speith, DJ, Bubba, Reed, Walker, Fowler, Bradley are a good core. You still might have Mickelson/Woods/Kuchar next year too.  I want to see how guys like Bill Haas, Kevin Na, Russell Henley, and Brooks Koepka develop.

Bill Haas and Kevin Na have been on the tour for over a decade and are nearing their mid-30s. I get that everybody loves to hate Webb Simpson, but he seems like a much more likely candidate to "develop" than those guys.

Rose leaves the green wide open for Jordan, who promptly puts it on the green something like 50 feet away.  The pressure is rising, I think

JB Holmes might very well play himself into a spot this year.  He looks like a different guy.

This sucks. Nothing fun happening.

No kidding. Poulter, Fowler, and Stenson are having the best days but are too far out matter. Fowler especially.

Tiger, Rory, Phil and the top 2 are not playing well. Heck DJ looks the best of the top people.
