I finally had to take down last year's pool. Same rules as last year. Bonus points for picking the upsets. And a new way to pay this year. Download the Square Cash app in your App store. Also even though the web site says no PayPal feel free to PayPal me the fee at dcinct@gmail.com. Or of course a check would be fine. Good luck all!

At some point, that entry fee might need to be increased. But I do love this pool and I appreciate you running it. It's one of my favorite times of the year. I just think ten bucks is pretty low these days. A movie ticket is almost double that.

I have toyed with the idea of going to $20. But then lupojohn talked me out of it. I'll think about it for next year.

Got it. Yeah, lupojohn dropped the ball, I think. But it's still awesome. Thank you for running it every year.

Can't you just charge us 10 and pay out 20? A lot of us are struggling.

I think I need 2 entries.

One with the requisite pick of Kentucky and one a little different just in case.

Well i just got a kick in the ass. I didn't know Amazon shut down it's payment system so that is no longer an option. So PayPal or the Square cash (debit cards only). Or a check.

I'm in and sent via Paypal.  Love this pool, maybe I'll make it past the second round this year.

117 entries. 58 have Kentucky winning it

That few?  I'm shocked, quite frankly.  I figured the huge majority would go with KY.  And I'd be going against the grain.

Sorry to be a nitpicker, because I know this ain't a casino, and I really do appreciate what you do in running this pool every year, but I don't think you should be posting this information. It's not fair to those who entered early, and it's why we can't see anyone else's bracket until the games start. You shouldn't be looking at it yourself if you're entering other than first, either.

In once again this year, payment sent via paypal.  I may do a 2nd entry tonight or tomorrow morning if I get a chance.

Edit: 2nd entry submitted; paid for again via PayPal. Great pool, thank you again for running it, Dan.

How are the entries stacking up compared to previous years?

I was just looking at the underdog rule and want to make sure I have this correct:

Another example is in 1st round you pick the 13 to beat the 4 and the 5 to beat the 12. And in 2nd round you pick 13 to beat the 5. Now let's say the 13 and the 12 both win. In the 2nd round the 13 beats the 12. You'd get the 2 points for correctly picking the 13 to win and you'd get 8 bonus points because you picked 13 to win as an underdog and even though they aren't playing the 5 you did pick them to win as an underdog and in this case are playing as an underdog.

If the 13 beats the 12 you still get 2 points for round two win, but then you get 13-5=8 additional bonus points instead of just 13-12=1?

Seems strange to me to get extra bonus points based on the seed you choose to get into that point rather than who they actually played.

Makes it much more fun if that 13 seed has already won and now you're watching the 12/5 game...

Dan, first off thanks for running this every year, in the words of kevin durant, "you the real mvp"...

My question is the payout, is it top 2 or 3? And what's the percentage to each?

I don't really disagree with you but that's how the program calculates it. I have thought about doing away with the bonus points but when I ever suggest most people say they like the underdog points and tell me to keep it.

323 unofficial entries. Might be a couple of duplicates as there was a hiccup as people were entering this morning and some might have been duplicated. But should be a new record.I'll try to have everything up shortly

Is this one of those things where I need to clear my cookies? Because I was trying to print out my brackets and they're not there.

Gracias.

Thanks again.
