Tomlin got screwed by his OF but he gave up a bunch of really well hit balls, in general. Not a great potential series clinching performance.

Major league players in a World Series Game 6.
We're being set up for a reprise of the Mets' legendary "Yo la tengo" incident.

It was in another series against Cincinnati that summer that Ashburn pursued a fly ball to shallow left centerfield. Now, the Mets' Venezuelan shortstop, Elio Chacon, recklessly laid claim to every ball hit in the air. So before this game, Ashburn had asked bilingual teammate Joe Christopher how to say "I got it" in Spanish. "Yo la tengo," he was told.

So here comes the fly ball, and sure enough, here comes Chacon to invade Ashburn's airspace. "I see him whipping out from shortstop like a little kid on a scooter," says Ashburn. "So I yell, ' íYo la tengo! íYo la tengo!' And Elio puts on the brakes." It was at that precise moment that leftfielder Frank Thomas, a native of Pittsburgh, ran headlong into Ashburn and knocked the ball loose.

I have been busy. Is the main difference that Tomlin stinks tonight or are the Cubs pulling the ball less? ( in addition to the outfield mishaps, I mean.)

I feel like that missed catch in the first inning killed the Indians' spirit. They are useless.
Is there a worse sin on D than letting a ball drop in? Thank you Will Myers and Adam Wainwright.

...and we'll see you tomorrow night

Yup, adjustments to the rotation should have been made after they went up 3-1. Push Bauer back to Game 6 and have a rested Tomlin in case Kluber gets in trouble for Game 7.

Shades of Game 6 of the 2010 NBA Finals here, with the Cubs as the Lakers, anyone else? Hopefully no Perkins equivalent injury here for the Tribe, or super dicey calls/hot Artest if they hold on here for tomorrow.

Let it go.
I have but it really points to how fragile a team's position can be in the postseason, any team.

Indians have played amazing baseball and honestly pushing the Cubs to a game 7 is an accomplishment in and of itself. They just might be out of steam though.

Kluber wins MVP if they do pull it off

I expect you to be posting the Farrell love during Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins gamethreads right up to opening day.
It's not Ferel love - it's look none of these guys really have THAT much say in the outcome of a game.

Yeah I am not ready to write off Cleveland's chances with Kluber on the hill tomorrow night and a potentially rested Miller and Shaw in the pen.
