I grew up in Roanoke, VA and remember when I was between 5-10 we'd go see this game every year in old Victory Stadium before they ended the series there and started anchoring the game on Vajenyatek's campus. My dad is a die hard, and mean DIE HARD Wahoo fan. He approached each year with great expectations, only to have them dashed on the windshield of Al Groh's or Mike London's crashmobiles. Talk about "50-50 ball"! Even George Welsh was a great ray of light compared to those guys.

Miami is mediocre on O. One win of note all year at home versus a ND team whose QB looked like he pissed his pants in the pocket.

No chance ACCgets two teams now.

Anxiously awaiting Alabama vs Wiscy. Lololol

So many frauds this year rode easy schedules to relevance. Notre Dame, Miami are just the latest to fall. I want to see Auburn beat Alabama so bad, and throw this entire playoff into complete, unadulterated chaos with like 10 teams claiming they should have a shot to play in the Final Four.

A lot of college football seasons end up in playoff chaos. The unpredictability is why we love the sport. The whole country will be rooting for Auburn.

I would love if they call that a fumble before he hit the pylon, just because.

edit - definitely not a fumble.

Bama is probably already in, they can't finish with more than 1 loss. Some real chaos is if Georgia loses to Georgia tech or Clemson loses to S Carolina, and then wins their conference. Pitt beating Miami is a cherry on the sundae

That was a great run by Southern Florida. The shirt rip and it didn't matter, the guy willed himself into the end zone.

I want the chaos. Alabama is boring, and their schedule is embarrassingly weak, but they are getting into the playoff.

Wait. They are playing sweet Caroline?
Some guy in the Pitt AD’s office was charged several years ago with figuring out how to increase student attendance at their football games, which had been low because of mediocre teams and Heinz Field’s distance from campus. Noting how popular Sweet Caroline was at Fenway, he got them to start playing it at the end of their ballgames.

SEC fanboys could be rooting for Alabama over Auburn and then losing to Georgia to force 2 SEC teams into playoff.

USC still has a shot at the playoff if both Clemson and Wiscy lose

Especially if Bama goes undefeated (beats Aubrun and Georgia)

2 loss Georgia v 2 loss USC v 2 loss OSU would be tough choice with all 3 being destroyed once

For true chaos you need Bama and UCF to go undefeated, and have a of teams (everyone with a tough schedule) with 2 losses, Auburn with 3, and no more than 1 P5 team with a single loss

SEC gets two teams in if someone besides Bama wins the conference with 1 or 2 losses. Bama is in. They either finish 13-0, 12-1, or 11-1, unless maybe if Auburn beats them by 50 or something and it leaves a bad last impression. and even then . . .

USC is a sneaky dark horse since they have a top 10 schedule and they'll have 8-9wins over bowl teams

You guys really think that if Alabama loses to Auburn, and then Georgia wins the SEC Championship, Alabam is in? If that happens, Georgia is in, Clemson is in if they win out, Wisconsin is in if they win out.

I think if Georgia, Clemson and Wisconsin win out, the fourth team is Oklahoma over Alabama, assuming the Sooners also win out. I think Mayfield going for the Heisman is an additional notch in their belt with voters.

USF/UCF is a great game right now. 21-20 at the half. USF WR, McCants has 210 yards at halftime, which is already a school record, and Flowers has 348 yards passing.

Stanley Morgan Jr. just broke the Nebraska single season receiving record with 967 yards, breaking Johnny Rodgers record of 942. If you told me that Nebraska had never had a 1,000 yard receiver, I'm not sure I would have believed it before now.

I'm biased but these two teams are under-ranked by the committee by about 5 spots each. I've watch most of Flowers's and McCants's games for three years, they are a joy to watch almost every week.

Check out McCants (#8) blocking two guys on this long run

Since that opening three drives, the UCF quarterback has been the weak link. Needs to get it going for UCF to win.

Last five drives for UCF:
Can’t convert a 4th and 1
Can’t pick up a 3rd and 1
Int
Touchdown
Can’t convert a 4th and 1

With a dual threat QB, you’ve gotta do better.

Touchdown by UCF with 2:21 to go. 7 point lead, extra point pending. Might have been the best thing for USF. Instead of milking the clock out, USF gets the ball back down by 8, with a chance to tie.

I hope USF comes back to win after that stupid playcalling to pass with a first down, up and with three minutes left.
