feels like the ref misread the situation as Thompson giving an elbow to the guys' face.
That's what happened. He was trying to keep things from getting out of control, but but it appear he missed it.

Then Draymond and TT acted like a-holes.

How is that EVER anything about captains/coaches? If this isn't 100% on the player then nobody is ever accountable for their actions.

I mean I have no idea what you expect a coach to do.....run on the court after Hill makes the first and tell every player that the game is tied?
Well, I mean coaches do this and so do captains. IDK what to tell you.

It is going to be great to see Jaylen dunking on Draymond, Tatum driving on Klay, Hayward shooting 3 over KD and Kyrie breaking Curry’s ankles for layup this time next year

Why did Thompson get thrown out? It wasn't for the shove in the face. It was on the little ricky-tack foul on Livingston. How on earth was that even called a foul, never mind an EJECTION?
I think the ref didn't have a good angle and thought Thompson tried to elbow Livingston in the face.

Sure in Biddy Basketball with 8-year olds. The scoreboard is in everyone's face. No coach or is telling their players what the score is when every single person in the arena already knows. That's ridiculous. What the coaches and captains are doing in this situation, what they should be doing, is setting up the defense on a make or a miss.

TT should not have been ejected. The ejection then leads to Draymond taunting him, so he reacts. If TT is suspended for Game 2, that will be a fucking travesty, and the perfect cap to a horribly officiated game (playoffs, season, decade, century, take your pick).

I really want to know what Draymond was doing under the basket there during Lebron's free throws, after Draymond just made that 3 in overtime. He kept doing this feminine dance move thing over and over again, like he was mimicking someone.

Maybe at his next stop Lebron will learn to let the actual management make personnel decisions instead of forcing them to give JR Smith $57 million.

Zzzzzzzzzz. Most boring finals ever.

All NBA fans who didn't bother to watch tonight because "LeBron feeling out game" and "double digit Warrior win" ... er, I mean I guess they were right?

LeBron is freaking ridiculous. Just when I think he can't possibly have another level at age 33, after 82 games, and 18 playoff games. Bravo.

Meanwhile, Chris Webber is secretly applauding JR Smith right now. (Full disclosure: I thought the Cavs were ahead, too, lolz...)

I will not be surprised if TT is suspended for game 2. You can't shove Green, not matter how much he may deserve it, after you have already been ejected.
Well, Larry Nance was allowed to shove Marcus Morris because "it looked like Morris said something". The Celtics came out on the short end of that exchange, despite Nance starting the fracas. The NBA makes shit up as they go along without fear of reprisal.

Ty Lue when asked about JR: He thought we were up one.

Lue is pissed about the replay reversal. 'Never happened in the history of the game.'

I honestly thought in real time he was going to try and take a desperation shot on the wrong basket. Thought he forgot what basket he was shooting at.

Durant can say he wanted to play in GS because he could invest more in tech companies, and play a different style of basketball; but the reality is he went to GS so he could be practically invisible down the stretch of a Finals game and still beat LeBron, even if James has 50.

Haven't seen too many takes giving LeBron a hard time passing to Hill instead of looking to shoot himself. He may regret that decision for a long time.

Lol what?

JR Smith: "I was trying to get enough to bring it out to get a shot off. I knew we were tied, I thought we were going to call timeout. If I thought we were ahead, I'd have held onto the ball and let them foul me."

So what does last year say? He kicked LeBron’s ass and won MVP in the Finals.

Only JR Smith could make this worse than it already was.

Cavs should have won today to give this series some glimmer of competitiveness. Instead they waste an epic LeBron performance.

Roethlisberger wrote that for him.

But it was absolutely the correct basketball decision. Hill was wide open if Thompson doesn’t grab him and should’ve made his second ft.
