Sam Bradford is extra special bad. I truly don't understand what the Bills, Browns and Cardinals are doing. You spent high first round picks on Josh Allen, Baker Mayfield, and Josh Rosen, and instead of starting them in week one, you start Nathan Peterman, Tyrod Taylor and Sam Bradford. And with the exception of the Browns fourth quarter, these three teams have combined to do basically, well absolutely, nothing offensively today. It was like the Niners not starting Jimmy G. last year right after they traded for him, and only putting him in when Beathard got hurt (of course, I think that move is going to turn out to be a nightmare for them, because if they didn't give him those last 5 starts, there is no way he would have cost $130million to re-sign, and he's going to be the next Brock Osweiler, but I digress).

If you're going to mortgage your future by drafting these guys, then what the fuck are you waiting for? Are they learning something by sitting on the bench, and watching their teammates get fucking crushed?

We here in Ct actually got the Giants game on Fox and the the Pats on CBS in the early window. During the late window, we get Chiefs Chargers on the New York CBS channel plus Cowboys Panthers as part of the Fox doubleheader. So yeah NFL...! We have it good here in CT..
I got that too, I mentioned CT only as a check on what geographic areas in country had the BrownS game cut off.

Sam Bradford is washed up. Arizona seriously has to consider Rosen at some point, their season is lost anyway. I feel badly for Fitz.

If it ever got too late or too dangerous, would they ever call it? What happens then? Would they go to a mutual off day and just resume it or would it be started from scratch?

Nobody even picked up Dan Bailey? Really? I knew Dallas cut him, but I figured somebody picked him up.

oh, someone here actually thinks Jimmy G won't be the next GOAT?

(I'm neutral myself)
No, no I don't. Maybe the next Osweiler is a bit hyperbolic, but a young QB coming out and winning a few games, and then turning into nothing special is not exactly uncommon in the NFL. Happens literally all the time. Jimmy G. had a lot of things break just right for him to go 5-0 to finish last season, and good on him for parlaying it into a massive payday, but let's just say I'm glad it's the Niners that spent the money. I'm just fine watching and rooting for Tom Brady for the next "several" years like he himself says he wants to play.

0-3 to 4-3
Why do you say he’s a douche?

He’s one of the league’s most reviled players, but aside from being overrated (which he definitely is, or at least was), I can’t figure out what he’s done wrong.
Doesn’t seem like a team player at all. Example - scores a TD, teammates rush to celebrate with him but he ignores every one of them as he does his little Superman thing.

Douche.

Never watched a Cam press conference after a loss, eh?

NBC should win every production award there is for the quality of SNF. I’m like a broken record with this, but the way they mic the game, the sound levels, the clarity of the cameras, the graphics...it’s awesome.

I wish Mousa Suleiman would show up at New Amsterdam hospital and kill that goofy winking doctor.

Still looking for the like button. Great post.

I miss Akiem Hicks
Letting Hicks get away - and losing out on a last-ditch effort to keep him - is one of the worst examples of BB getting too cute. HATE that we lost him - and the guy's only 28 NOW. Terrible nickel-and-dime nonsense. (This is the most I will ever complain about the last 20 years of Patriots fandom, outside of the "I WILL NEVER GET OVER IT" of the Butler debacle.)

Jimmy I N T, didn’t have a great game but the Vikes are good and he still looks like the real deal to me.
Texans defense is supposed to be the real deal too. One guy threw 3td's and 1 pick, and one guy threw 3 picks and 1td today. Bottom line, the Pats couldn't keep both, and a vote to keep Jimmy G. would mean a vote to get rid of Brady. IMO, it was and is an easy call.

We'll see on Jimmy G. All I'm saying is the jury is still very, very far out on him. The Niners went all in on him. I just don't think it's going to work out well for them in the long run.

I was apparently very very wrong about how this game was going to play out though. I figured Green Bay would keep running it right down Chicago's throat with Jamal Williams who had 12 yards on his first 2 carries when I made the earlier post. Since then, he has zero carries, ARoD is 1/4 passing, and the Green Bay defense can't stop anything. They need to get back to running the ball and controlling the clock a bit, or they might be the ones that get blown out.
