Thanks for starting this. Bowl matchups are always fun to look at but with players electing more and more not to play it's really hard to put a ton of stock into them, especially before kickoff.

I just hope most the games are competitive, fun and no one is seriously injured. Also the Army-Navy game this this weekend.

Go Army! Beat Navy!

Agree with this sentiment. Have to think that as the amateurism model continues to crumble the bowl concept will change drastically.

3 OU players suspended
Three Oklahoma Sooners football players, including defensive lineman Ronnie Perkins, have reportedly been suspended and will not play in the College Football Playoff semifinal Peach Bowl against No. 1 LSU.

According to SoonerScoop.com, Perkins, running back Rhamondre Stevenson and wide receiver Trejan Bridges are the suspended players. Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports confirmed Perkins' suspension.

Jason Kersey of The Athletic reported the suspensions are a result of failed drug tests.

I don’t know Bowl selection politics so there is probably an answer that makes sense to this question: why if Notre Dame and PSU are playing a bowl game on the same day at the same time, why aren’t they playing each other? Seems like that would be an easy sell.

Because no one would watch, much less attend, a Memphis/ISU game.

Big 10 defense!!!
Nobody plays defense anymore. Penn State’s pass defense got exposed by Minnesota last month and again today by Memphis. This is the modern game. I miss the days when a good running game and strong D were a good formula for controlling a game.

Two drives for Oklahoma. -7 yards, two 3 and outs. One play out of six went for positive yards. 4.
I should have expected it, but this is shocking. Oklahoma doesn't look like they belong on the same field so far. Early i guess.

That was a fantastic catch.

And now a TD. Pretty solid answer by Okla, they needed it.
incredible catch...………...and always a good idea on a run near the end zone to fling the ball carrier FORWARD into the end zone.

Nice answer by the sooners.

Boger's crew working this game; good to know.

If the Sooners aren't going to get calls like that, then forget it.
