Richmond offense isn't bad, but their defense is terrible. That and the BC offense is pretty good. They definitely have some weapons. It will be interesting to see how they do when the competition ramps up.

Greatest Women's lacrosse player in history, Sam Apuzzo, is in the house, looks like giving a tour of campus to family. Good sign.
Go Eagles!

If they lose this game Addazio shouldn’t even be allowed to finish the season out...but then again I feel like I’ve said that at least once per year since he’s been at BC.

28-24 at the half...KANSAS LEADS. Think about that. Kansas is beating BC at home. Outscored 21-7 since up 17-7. Kansas has put up 308 yards on this pathetic D. Reality check fellas....this is a 6-6 team.....ridiculous.

Outscored 31-7 since up 17-7. Pathetic. Totally outcoached. As usual they tease us in the opener but crash to reality. This is NOT a good team fellas. 6-6 at best. And yet the gym coach not only will keep his job, I bet he gets another extension this offseason. BTW Kansas has a 48 game losing streak against P5 opponents on the road. I think the streak may end tonight.

I would feel better about this if it lead to finally shit-canning Daz....but as Bernie mentioned, ain't gonna happen...

Got home from teh Who and turned on ESPN to see this score. That is pretty embarrassing. Kansas has lost 48 consecutive road games to P5 teams, and they blow BC out.

Anyway, doesn't matter, I haven't seen a snap this year and don't plan to until they fire Daz. Of course since most of the games are on ACC network, I couldn't watch even if I wanted. (Will have to figure something out for basketball season)

Maybe the next AD will fire Daz

Who the F coaches the secondary? That person should be fired with Daz.

And F the T for not having Riverside service when there's a Fenway concert and a BC game

Just noticed

Kansas lost to Coastal Carolina last week at home. The first win over a P5 school in Coastal history

As Big Mike said they had lost 48 straight road games against P5 opponents till tonight. Kansas is a friggin doormat. Actually I guess BC is a friggin P5 doormat. Other than USC in 2014 who have they beaten OOC in the P5? Yup, no one!!! Not even a doormat like Kansas.

At best, best...6-6. If this fraud is not shit canned out of Chestnut Hill at the end of the season or sooner they have lost me until they have a legit coach in charge. As for Jarmond? As 463 said last year, he is an empty suit who is bidinig his time till a bigger and better gig opens up. Rumor out here in So Cal is that he is a candidate for the USC job. Who knows but the fact he extended this Fraud as well as Christian tells me he doesn’t care about BC. The sooner he moves on and we have a guy who really wants to amp up the program, the better.

You BC guys keep saying this. The program sucks, has sucked for a long time, and will continue to suck unless the President, Board, etc. want anything more than ACC money. I will not dispute that Jarmond is waiting for the bigger gig, but your administration doesn't give a shit. That's the problem.

Leahy sucks; theres no doubt about that. His "vision" is pretty much build some buildings around the campus. He can't even get that done anywhere near on time so you'll get no argument from me that he's a major impediment. That said, theres no reason the program cant be decent with Leahy (it was for the first 10+ years of his presidency) if the AD doesnt make disturbingly bad decisions.

So Just because it is always fun to review at times like these

Steve Addazio at BC
Record against Div 1 opponents 33-39
Record against P5 Opponents 21-38 (I think this is right, One Loss to Colorado St)
Record against ACC Opponents 19-30

Some more numbers
Under Daz BC teams have
won 3 games where they trailed entering the 4th quarter (Wake and NCST in 2016, and Maryland in 2013)
Not won any games where they entered the 4th quarter tied
won 3 games where they won a game they led entering the 4th quarter, but allowed the other team to tie in 4th quarter (Louisville and Norther Illinois in 2017, and New Mexico St in 2013)
Won one game where they entered the 4th quarter with the lead and allowed the other team to go ahead at some point in the 4th (VT in 2014)

Even more (Only looking at D1 games)
Some evidence BC games are really dull, and very little reason to watch the 4th quarter
BC is 15 - 0 when leading by 14 + points entering the 4th quarter
BC is 7-0 when leading by 8 -14 point
BC is 8-4 when leading by a TD or less
BC is 0-5 in tie games
BC is 3-10 when trailing by a TD (Wake & NCST in 2016, and Maryland in 2013)
BC is 0-7 when trailing by 8-14
BC is 0-17 when trailing by more than 2 TD

30.6% of games are comfortable wins under Daz.
41.7% of games are competitive
33.7% of games are blowout losses (note there have been a few competitive games entering the 4th, that have become blowout losses, but are considered competitive here)

BC wins 36.7% of competitive games
BC wins 46.8% of blowouts

Virginia Tech had to come from behind I’m the 2nd half to beat Furman yesterday, so BC’s win over VT was a lot less impressive than we thought a couple weeks ago.

Very bad week for the ACC. BC blowout, VA Tech struggled and GA Tech lost to The Citadel.

What a strange article by Benbow today how the Eagles' team has done a fantastic job putting the Kansas loss behind them.

It's Tuesday morning, they don't play a game until Saturday. Perhaps write that article after that, maybe?

The Wake Forest game on Parent's Weekend has been scheduled for 3:30. Hopefully this one doesn't end 3-0.

no I didn't jump off the Tobin Bridge after the Kansas game.. and yes the reason was I go south not over the bridge to the unknown territory called the North Shore

what I think happened is the team and staff watched the game film of Coastal Carolina beating KU at home and figured, like all of us, that this was a layup. Score on the first drive, FG on second, we're coasting, thats what we thought u in QQ. I'm not going to break my arm patting myself on the back but I called Kansas with Miles is the 2019 WTF Game months ago, and thats just what it was.

ToBY2.0 again made no adjustments, coming out in 2nd half running AJ up the fucking middle over and over RRPP, the non existant D was gouged all night. the classic being the 82 yd run just before the half where 2 DBs are running down field in pass coverage while the KU RB is steps behind them with the ball, and they tried too tackle him like Gronk trying to tackle Drake vs Mia last year... FUCK

ok now that I've got that out of my system, its on to SUNJ or maybe WTF2.0. Ash at Rutgers is coaching for his job and coming off a bye. Daz i has his head up his ass, . I watched Rutgers vs Mas Aggie a few weeks ago and felt we'd kick the shit out of them, today, not so much. This is a game where we are going to need big production out of the QB, I hope Brown can do it

This game is a lot tougher than it should be. 17-13 at the half. The D is bad and Brown is a bad passer. This season is shaping up as a long one with wins not easy to come by.

Big win against what is probably the worst team in the big 10 who had to use their backup QB, but it is a win against a p5 opponent

KU is down 10-7 to West Virginia. I think we all agree that WVU would absolutely smoke BC. So my theory is that KU under Miles won’t be a doormat this year, the debacle against Coastal Carolina notwithstanding.

The next three games (Wake, @LOU, NCST) will be telling. If we beat Wake and lose the other two, then we’re probably the 6-6 marginal bowl team that we seem to be most years. Win two of three, and we’re looking better than that. Lose all three, and the wheels are coming off, and Daz’s job might be in actual jeopardy.

Had a dream last night that the VT reality (that win not meaning much), plus a loss to Wake can can Daz, you hire an interim, and in January, Flo gets fired and gets hired here, and he hires St. Pierre as QB coach, Zakauskas/Colombo as OL/OC, and Michael Reed from Clemson as DC and you go all-in with BC grads to rebuild the program from the ground up.

I'll never understand the fascination with repeatedly having Brown roll left. It makes for an incredibly predictable play because there's only one place he can throw it and the defense knows that too.

This may be the worst 3rd down defense i have ever seen. Horrible scheme and game plan as usual.

And they pick a pass off, on cue.
