Anyone know if Hogan's injury was truly season ending? Wonder if he's healthy if the Panthers would release him off IR.
He was more or less a warm body last year (he had a big one handed catch v KC, granted), so hard pass.Anyone know if Hogan's injury was truly season ending? Wonder if he's healthy if the Panthers would release him off IR.
Unfortunately he agreed to terms with the Saints before Gronk's retirement. Gronk's still active status was reportedly one of the reasons he chose New Orleans. As far as the TE position go, they should have closed the deal on Jared Cook.
He verbally agreed to terms with NO, but didn't officially sign until a couple weeks later. The Patriots "aggressively" pursued Cook in this period, but Cook wouldn't renege on his verbal.Unfortunately he agreed to terms with the Saints before Gronk's retirement. Right. The Patriots pursued Cook prior to Gronk's announcement and then made another push but Cooks wouldn't renege. He verbally agreed to terms with NO, but didn't officially sign until a couple weeks later. source close to tight end Jared Cook said the Patriots aggressively courted him before Cook elected to sign with the Saints late last week. Rob Gronkowski’s uncertain status seems to have played a significant part in Cook’s thinking, as there is clearer path to a top role on the tight-end depth chart in New Orleans.
Dorsett has had his momentsThe 2016 draft-The Cyrus Jones/Valentine/Brisset/Thuney/Mitchell draft, with five 2-4th round picks, should be the core of the team right now and you're getting production from one of those guys (Karras and Roberts help a little but aren't that great).
Likewise. You don’t get your mojo by beating Cincy. You get it by taking out Mahomes’ Chiefs. Really curious to see how this team rebounds.Don't know about the rest of you, but I am ready to move on from this thread to the On To Kansas City/ thread. Perhaps I am a little biased living in the KC area (it's as obnoxious as you would expect right now), but this is the game I have been looking forward to all year. This defense is built for the Chiefs. Sorry to get off topic, but BOB & Watson can play air guitar all they want right now, they just won the SB.
Similar to White's TD last week. I believe he was lined up in backfield to that side but they were overloaded to that side, the receivers ran everyone off and created traffic in middle. This is something the Patriot should be running. Not sure if they have run something similar but this would help White or Burkhead get open.

Another sign that the Patriocalypse is upon us ... when even the annual ESPN look behind the scenes is weak sauceJust what we needed today, an ESPN long take on The Patriot Way: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28218646/bill-belichick-tom-brady-big-wins-bigger-expectations-patriot-way
TL;DR: He doesn't smile and is unapologetic.
