Watching Jimmy, I'm very glad we didn't choose to hand the franchise over to him and that we've still got TB under center. He's not bad, but now being 28 years old with 21 career starts of tape to watch his strengths and weaknesses, he likely is a finished product, and I'm willing to bet we could do better.
This sums up my thoughts exactly.

That play where he basically hands the ball to the RB, then keeps it looks unstoppable. The few times I've seen it it looks like Ingram has the ball.

This is play action 2.0

Teams have thought of this, no doubt, but on those looks defenses just have to have one guy who stays on Jackson regardless. Easier to say than do, obviously

Love the Ravens begging for a flag. If I'm not mistaken, the cover guy has a right to go get the ball right?

Agreed that the Patriots were better off trading him than trying to keep him but that is mostly a function of Brady choosing to continue to play. Garoppolo isn't an elite QB but he is clearly good enough that he can win you big games imho.

When you look at the gulf between even that tier and the rest, he is still pretty valuable.

Lucky that wasn’t a flag. I know defender has a right to the ball, but I have seen weaker calls.

Edit - it looks like he went right through the back.

I don't think that's reversible PI. I thought it was live, but he was playing the ball and the receiver was moving away from the ball there.

Yeah, not enough evidence to overturn, but I thought the 49ers got really luck to not have it called on the field bc Ward ran right through the receiver while playing the ball, which I am not sure a defender can do.

I thought that live as well. It looked less like PI on the replay to me.
