Trying to hammer out a potential playoff schedule. Going out on a limb with the some of the teams. If you remember, the divisional weekend game times on Sunday were pushed back to 3 and 6:30. Fox had 2 divisional games last year so assuming CBS will this year. Also assuming that the league will be salivating for a possible Brees/Rodgers and Brady/Mahomes matchups back-to-back on Sunday.

WC Weekend
Saturday
4:30 #5 Buffalo at #4 Houston ESPN/ABC
8:00 #6 Minnesota at #3 New Orleans NBC

Sunday
1:00 #6 Tennessee at #3 KC CBS
4:30 #5 Seattle at #4 Philadelphia FOX

Divisional Weekend
Saturday
4:30 Lowest Seed at #1 Baltimore CBS
8:00 Lowest Seed at #1 San Fransisco NBC

Sunday
3:00 Highest Seed at #2 Green Bay FOX
6:30 Highest Seed at #2 New England CBS

Cowboys team plane has mechanical issues. They’re trying to get another plane to Philly. Apparently the travel party is still at the stadium on the buses waiting to go to the airport.
Fitting. Maybe Jones is trying to fire Garrett and he's hanging onto the wing.

I haven’t really been watching, but why do Chicago RBs have 16 rushing attempts against the Chiefs?

They're only behind by three touchdowns in the fourth quarter and want to make sure they still respect the play action?

Yeah, I don't see both the one seeds playing on Saturday. Given Baltimore having the best record in the league, and all the hype around Jackson, I think you can swap their game and the Patriots game

The cradle of the game.
Packers at Vikings in what could be the first half of a home-and-home, with week 17 wedged in the middle.

Both have clinched a playoff spot, so expecting cards to be held close to vests.

Isn't there still a slim chance that the Vikings could win the division?

Seems like they Vikings gameplan is to abandon the run and get the ball in Cousins hands on a big primetime MNF game. Seems like a plan with few flaws. If anyone has shown to handle even moderate big game pressure its Cousins

WTH was that Aaron Rodgers graphic in an elf suit on an iceberg with a narwhal
Looked like a local car dealership ad.

Sure, a lot of things could change. But right now, Packers (3) are hosting Minny (6) on Jan 4/5
I guess I was more questioning why the Vikings would play it "close to the vest" if they still had a chance to host that playoff game

The GB D is pretty soft overall so not impressive so far for Cousins and the Viking gameplan

And Roger's does a Favre

The cradle of the game.
Useless information alert: Since NFL began seeding playoff teams (1975-76), the Super Bowl has always featured at least one #1 or #2 seeded team. Which makes sense, but surprising that a 3 or 4 has never faced a 3 or 4.

So, if the top 2 current seedings for each conference were to remain unchanged, at least one of the following teams will play in LIV: Ravens, Patriots, 49ers, Saints.

If GB wins tonight they're the NFC North champions and control their destiny for a 2-seed bye (which they would claim with a win @ DET next week).

If MIN wins tonight and both teams win next week, GB still wins the division, but as the 3-seed.

If MIN wins tonight and then gains a game next week with both home teams winning (MIN over CHI, DET over GB), they're the 3-seed at 12-4 and GB is the 6 seed, coming back here for a replay.

...Unless the Saints also lose next week, in which case the NFC North champs claim the 2-seed and NO hosts the NFC North runner-up instead.

The NFC West runner-up is the 5-seed except in weird situations involving ties, or where both GB and MIN finish 12-4 to their 11-5.

Better get the ball in Cousins hands as much as possible. Hes such a perplexing QB but there's no doubt he has limitations

If there's one thing we know about the NFL it's that they want to get it right. And commercial breaks.

This is such an NFL review. No change in possession and no change in field position = 5 minute delay.
And announcers are going on and on..."that's a fumble" and "I see green". Without one mentioning a Packer fell on it.

EDIT: Oh, wait---time issues. But announcers didn't mention it at all until after.

Bad throw, that should be a TD. Adam's had to hang on though

I’m not sure the font they are using for the score box could be any bigger. It’s like 10 percent of the screen. ESPN sucks.
