The delay of game penalty was so dumb. They should have won. It's not on the refs
Meh, Hollister initiates a lot of contact with the MLB and then flops on the ground when the ball got thrown to him. It probably should have been called but I’m fine with a no-call there.

That is true. But that DPI was brutal. How can they miss calls like that every year.
I honestly don't know how that happened. Did they think they got a 40-second clock after the clocked ball? They weren't even ready of there were 5 more seconds on the clock.
So I guess the Pats defense should have just tackled the Miami receivers in the end zone. Apparently that is cool now.

I get that, but on what premise? He may have scored? He didn't seem close live. Is under 2 min review 'anything close'? Because then why wasn't the DPI reviewed?

That missed call happens like 50% of the time. The delay of game was an indefensible joke.
This one is squarely on the Seahawks execution. Do not let the game be decided by the refs.
So BB was correct not to call TO in Super Bowl. With time winding down on the goal line, Pete froze and cost them a killer delay of game.
Execution? Seattle earned the first down at the end of the 1st half. Should have had the ball on the 1 at the end.
Like the Pats, the 49ers defense is still not where it was in the first half of the season. 27 1st down for Seattle, 21 second half points allowed. They can be beat.
That was 30 minutes ago. Both teams can point to a play or two that should have gone their way. The delay of game was indefensible and they had their own destiny in their own hands
End of game let’em play mentality I guess. Delay of game gets no get out of jail card though.

The cameras followed the SF guy running down the field post 'fumble' but I think it was down at the 1.
The thought is BB didn't call TO because he thought Seattle's sideline looked out of sorts with the clock winding down. In the chaos, they called a dumb pick play.
Seemed to play out here. With clock winding down, Seattle couldn't figure out what package they wanted in there and didn't even get a play off.
