What a gutsy performance, he left it all out on the field.

Good for him, such an easy person to root for, so happy for him.

I'm worried ... because the Rays are done scoring for the night

Who is starting for HOU tomorrow if they hold on? Valdez on 3 days rest? Obviously they need this to keep going, but I figured that was Javier's game.

Darling is fantastic
I love Francouer even more and Brian Anderson is fast becoming the next Joe Buck (affable multi sport announcer). Ex catcher too so its not like he has been planning on a PBP career from when he was young.

Turner Sports just gets in in general.

I understand why he did it, big picture move, but I don’t like PH’ing Lowe there. He is just broken right now.
I love it. Lowe is struggling for sure. However imo the best managers and coaches will seize any chance to put players in a spot where there downside is limited but the upside is huge. Lowe could do nothing but win there. And its not a huge deal if he fails.

Baker leaving Javier in for that extra batter was a terrible decision even though it ended up working out. I think the world of Baker as baseball royalty but he has a horrific history of managing bullpens in the playoffs.

Its remarkable. For someone who was a very good player, clearly sees the game from a high level and seems so well regarded in baseball circles, he struggles with pitching. And its both ways, he pulls guys too soon and then he stays with others too long.

He is currently on TBS talking about Scherzers blue eye. I am afraid

Pedro on post game was grimly serious talking about Dusty leaving Greinke in in the sixth inning. Said he was putting his job as a manager in jeopardy and he really, really should have pulled Greinke. Felt like Pedro was having his own flashback to game 7 in 2003 with Grady.

Don't worry for Dusty, he still has 25 other organizations he hasn't managed yet, plus, I hear the Red Sox may be in the market for a new manager

Dusty Baker is the Andy Reid of baseball.
