Non-contact, going back to pass.Been in and out. How bad did he hurt his knee?
Yeah, the skills are obviously there but the focus sometimes isn’tHunter Long sure drops a lot of passes.
If there’s ever a year for BC to get a good bowl it’s a year where attendance doesn’t matter and it’s all tv ratings. At 7-4 they will look very attractive.Really loving the Hafley regime forcing turnovers.
Flowers is special.
Grosel is capable enough as a backup. Let's beat UVA and see what Bowl we are offered.
It’s nice having a coach that really good recruits actually want to play for.BC being listed as in the mix for #2 recruit in NJ. Would be a big get if it happens.

Yup. Speaking of which, a big commitment today:It’s nice having a coach that really good recruits actually want to play for.
Obviously Hafley won’t be here long term, but he will leave this program in far better shape than it’s been in a long time.Yup. Speaking of which, a big commitment today:

Pulled from South Carolina. BC is going to have real speed on its defense in the next few years. Love what Hafley has done so far.
Yup. Hopefully 3-4 good years and Hafley goes on to greener pastures. We’d all accept that.Obviously Hafley won’t be here long term, but he will leave this program in far better shape than it’s been in a long time.
But just focusing on the next few years, this is going to be a damn good team.
Hafley is playing some serious 3D chess. Great to see.BC being listed as in the mix for #2 recruit in NJ. Would be a big get if it happens.

If you're going to be going against Michigan, this is the year.Hafley is playing some serious 3D chess. Great to see.
Unfortunately he's not winning all of them.Hafley is playing some serious 3D chess. Great to see.
Yeah, the SEC land success rate won’t be high but I do love that he’s playing there. Tough to win those battles without the bag men.Unfortunately he's not winning all of them.

Wallace has decommitted after a bevy of SEC offers, but could there be good news coming soon for the Eagles?www.si.com
Looks like the decision was left to a player vote. I don’t blame them. It’s been a brutal year and they did an amazing disciplined job. Time for them to enjoy some downtime with their families. In terms of Covid, the team ended up undefeated!
As long as they're all negativeTime for them to enjoy some downtime with their families.
Agreed.Looks like the decision was left to a player vote. I don’t blame them. It’s been a brutal year and they did an amazing disciplined job. Time for them to enjoy some downtime with their families.
They'd probably lose less this year given the capacities, depending on which bowl of course.Agreed.
I suspect the players would make a similar decision in normal years, assuming the alternative is the sort of shitty bowl game that invites a 6-win team. The school was willing to go along this year because (a) the school loses money on the bowl game, and (b) with COVID, it’s not like there were a bunch of alumni eager to travel.
Im in love with Hafley. Elite defensive guys WANT to play for him, it’s program altering.Huge former 5 star transfer from FSU selects BC. Jaiden Lars-Woodbey.

Same here. I was so beaten down with Spaz/Daz that I forgot what it was like to have hope and excitement. Haven't felt this way since Jags and he was obviously a fraud. Hafley certainly isn't. And this is exactly why BC should make its hires from P5 schools. Tons of recruits have mentioned the tOSU connection. Don't give me some MAC head coach, like a Jim Christian, give me an up-and-coming P5 guy who needs an opportunity to spread his wings (no pun intended). Then, when they leave in 4-5 years for bigger things, find the next one. That's our sweet spot. Really excited to see what other transfers we can reel in.Im in love with Hafley. Apparently there is more excellent news coming tomorrow, as well.Same here. I was so beaten down with Spaz/Daz that I forgot what it was like to have hope and excitement. Any idea what that is? Recruit? Transfer?Apparently there is more excellent news coming tomorrow, as well.
Could get used to this.
This is just me guessing, but recruit seems more likely. I know they’ve been in on some bigger names, and legitimately in, unlike when they would fluke their way onto some top recruits top 5 or 10 in the past.Any idea what that is? Recruit? Transfer?
Come to think of it, Pete Kendall's kid is rumored to be down to BC and Stanford and you have that DT Rooks kid from NJ as well. Either would be a huge add. “I play to get two masters when I’m there,” Lars-Woodbey said. “I already have my under grad and plan to get masters in Urban Development and Real Estate. My parents had a big say in the decision as well and they really liked Boston College for me.
“I was comfortable with all my options but I love the fit as well. The plan for me is to be be on campus later this month to start getting acclimated and then I’ll obviously be ready to go for spring practice.
“Football wise, I would love to be one and done," Lars-Woodbey said. "I want to go out and have a great season and give myself a chance to go to the NFL but if I need to stay for two years, I’m at a great place for it and can fulfill all my academic goals too.
"I’m just really excited and can’t wait to play football again. I’m thankful to Florida State for everything and it was tough to leave but at the same time, I had to do what I felt was best for me in the long and short term so I’m excited about where things are at for me now.”
Seems like a very mature kid in the Herzlich, Kuechly, etc. mold. He’ll be a great fit. Secondary talent is getting big upgrade with this and the incoming class. Now just need some front 7 guys.![]()
Former FSU safety Jaiden Lars-Woodbey commits to Boston College
A week ago, former Florida State safety Jaiden Lars-Woodbey went in to the portal and schools wasted no time hitting him up.247sports.com
Boston College landed another highly ranked cornerback as Clinton Burton Jr. (MD) signed with the Eagles. The four star back flipped from Florida to Boston College, and chose the Eagles over basically every big program in the country. In a class full of impressive commitments, Burton may be the cream of the crop. He was recruited by defensive back Aazaar Abdul Rahim, who clean up in the DMV area in this class. Burton Jr was part of SI All American's top 10 cornerbacks in the class.
Other offers: Florida, Alabama, Ohio State, Clemson, UNC, and many others
Good for him. Definitely a loss for the program. Fortunately, I think we have some decent talent behind him. Next man up.Expected, but crap. Hunter is long gone.
