Hot take alert...has some luster worn off of Lawrence? He's had some very so-so games for a guy I thought was pegged as the best QB prospect since Peyton.
You don't remember Peyton at Tennessee do you? He put up two of these a season (one against a to be fair better Florida team every season) but still had plenty of mediocre games for the Vols. Lawrence is like Manning's longhaired twin.

Also that is a BS pass interference call...of course that one Offensive PI might be worse. These refs not really covering themselves in glory the last couple plays.

Except Peyton never won a national championship.

I thought was OPI but not a blatant one
let’s figure this out. In the NFL (I have seen this called against bad Jets corners a lot) on an under thrown pass, the Wideout can go through the CB to make a play on the ball. If the CB doesn’t look back, it is DPI right there.

The receiver grabbed his jersey and pulled the defender. Not a ton but enough to affect his balance. I do think that's let go more often than not though.

for a guy who preaches responsibility and "Good Hands", Dennis Haysbert spends a lot of time sitting in a recliner in the middle of a busy street.

And LSU DBs grab on every single play. Still cant believe the ejection though, just pathetic.
I agree with you on the call against Higgins, but the ejection of Skalski was 10000% the correct call, and has been made in every comparable situation all year in the NCAA. You simply cannot lead with the crown of your helmet, and it's to protect the defender as much as it is the ball carrier.

Displaced
Burrows and LSU earned this W, but the officiating was another NCAA disaster. Turned what could of been a classic into a shit stain.

yeah, I think it was ticky tack.

Ejection was a no brainer. Do not lead with your head. It's that simple. No problem with call or rule.

I don't and I didnt like it against OSU. Youre asking the football player to judge the level that a WR will duck their head at full speed. If he doesnt dive, he runs into his own player.
No. You are asking the football player not to lead with their own helmet. That's the issue.

it’s not the diving, it’s where defender is looking.

And how many times do we complain that a player shoulder tackled after a runner bounces off of them? I understand leading with a helmet but that wasnt a Meriweather hit.
Leading with your head doesn't solve that. It's a good way to paralyze yourself.

America was the real winner this season for getting to see so much of Ed Orgeron.
