There is only so much they can do to the golf course when they get that much rain. The sub air is only going to get them so far. It'll get more difficult as they go and the course dries/firms up more and more. NLU also theorized that they had some easier than normal pins yesterday to help the pace of play along given the forecast and limited daylight.

Michelle Wie just said that her rule for the cut line is to double what the current line is then divide it in half...
She had a number of cringe-inducing lines yesterday as well. Which was painful to mne, as I've always liked her, but she's ... not good at this commentary thing.

Weird things seem to happen to him in majors, but this could be DJ in a walk. He looks so damned good.

Edit: Didn't see the wheels falling off JT so quickly. Woof.

Cool shots from JT and Fitz on their layups. Low hook stingers that didn't get more than 10-15 feet above the ground.

She mentioned the wind picking up, and used leaves falling as evidence. Then a few leaves slowly fluttered down on the screen, unaffected in any obvious way by any wind.

It's fall, Michelle. Leave fall off trees.

That being said, it appears there's some evidence of wind in the trees of some later shots. But not much.

Unforced error from DJ to drop a shot at 14. Im is -7 and in the fairway at 13 so he could get to within 1 or tie here.

Something happened to Sungjae, looks like he's dropping at least 1 on 14. Has 10 feet for bogey.

Edit: Chip didn't get up the ridge and came back down.

She said yesterday that it was good for Tiger that he was playing with an amateur because he probably wanted to show off a bit and play extra well to show him he still has it. *crickets*

This has probably been said before but Cantlay is really giving me an Alfred E Neuman vibe with the way he looks.

What me worry?

ESPN stinks at showing golf. Interviews. Talking heads. Sports center updates about other sports for who knows what reason. Shows the fucking golf ffs.
The "broadcast" stream online stays with golf when the networks go to the bullshit.

Also, ANGC produces the broadcast so it's not entirely ESPN/CBS's fault.

So Tiger isn't one of the featured groups, which sucks, but I guess it won't matter because they will probably show every shot on ESPN.

Here are the featured groups:

2:08 p.m. -- Matt Kuchar, Lee Westwood, Kevin Na
2:19 p.m. -- Xander Schauffele, Kokrak, Henrik Stenson

Frankly, ugh. That's a poor couple of groups to feature. Kucher, yawn. Westwood, old. I guess Na can be ok but he's not drawing eyeballs. Xander is solid but Kokrak is useless and I can't imagine there is a person in the world outside of Sweden. How did they come up with these?

Frankie Molinari has been a disaster since Tiger took him down last April. Fell from 7th in the world to 85th and is going to MC this week, currently +5 with 3 to play.

Coinciding directly with me drafting him in our league
