Of course the Ravens take Duvernay.

I think I'd rather have Duvernay than Asiasi, if given a choice between the Devins. Hope the Pats picked the right one.

Sorry guys. Asiasi has been my guy at TE for some months now. I feel vindicated. You are going to love him.
Yup, he was TE2 for a lot of teams. He's a complete TE and does everything NE wants. Explosive, powerful dude. Good after the catch. Good play speed. And his best football is ahead of him.

Maybe a slight overpay on the trade, but more that I hadn't seen anyone mocking him before like 135, and he often was going in the 150s.

Edit- looks like Matt Miller had him in the 110s in his final mock, so maybe he rose late and nobody else caught it
I was going to point this out too... he was mocking as a 6th rounder a few weeks back, but of late was in the low 100s.

Obviously he's not going to be Gronk, but he's similar size and similar speed to Gronk, if he's even half as good I'll take it.

Hopefully he’s better than “so-so”. I like the seam comment, that’s where they need the TE to operate to help make the offense go.

I like the weight fluctuation ding for Asiasi. It shows he hasn’t seen his final form yet. Obviously, you’d like a D1 athlete to have his nutrition and training down, but I trust Bill to evaluate discipline and commitment.

If he can iron all those out, hopefully it adds to his game.

I know all these deaths and illnesses are fun but I’m just trying to imagine the pitch meeting

“Let me run something by you guys, what if, hear me out, you know how everyone is so afraid of death and crowds causing deaths and how we might cancel the season? What if we show the people that these players are all used to death, death of fans and teammates won’t stop their production. A lot of these guys actually use death and personal tragedies for motivation. Let’s show the death, let’s play the games!”

We dont really know that anymore.

Solid speed, agility, and hands. If he can round out his blocking, I'm onboard.

Fair but I think Asiasi plays more of an inline role whereas Deguara is more HBack and flex.
Yeah, I was more just saying that GB taking a TE gives an insight into why Bill didn't think Asiasi would be there at 100.

Also... good lord the Packers draft is TURRRIBLE

With the kid from TCU going that’s two years in a row a kid from New Canaan, CT has been drafted. Not your normal hot bed of pro talent.

Just turned it on tonight, but why the fuck is Rog still announcing picks? Like Adam Silver and the NBA commish in general have always handed off to an underling for 2nd round. Does Goodell just suck all the airspace and is afraid of grooming a better/cheaper commish for the owners?

Like Ted Baxter, afraid to take a vacation lest they see that the fill in anchor is much better.
