Brees is 7/24 today.

He wasn't ready and he shouldn't have played today. Stupid. What's the point of starting a guy with 11 broken ribs?
Plus no Michael Thomas and Smith got hurt as well today. Just not close to what the Saints could potentially be on offense.

I support the idea of building a list. Trump doesn't count. You can't count the devil as being on my list. He is the list.

But Dabo can EAD, sanctimonious exploiter of youth.
Will Dabo go to JVille with Trevor or does a Man of the Lord prefer not to work on Sundays?

Haha, well said.

IS Dabo even a good coach tho or just a great recruiter?
Saban has a better resume and sucked in the NFL, though BB clearly respects his football chops and Bama has always had a strong D (Saban was DC at Browns under BB).

I don’t think Saban sucked in the NFL and if he would have gotten Brees things would have been a lot different.

If you hate Dabo, you hate the essence of NCAA football.
Which is pretty much where I’m at.

Big what if if Mia had signed him not Culpepper. He nonetheless had a losing record (9-7 and 6-10). But again at least Saban had SOME NFL experience. Dabo jumped from assistant to HC and was noted for his recruiting as an assistant.

I hate how smarmy Dabo is about it. I think players should have some ability for income. Dabo is happy to keep them down

If #47 on the Saints recovers that fumble in the end zone, the Saints win.

The Chiefs are both good and lucky, it's quite a combination.

Green Bay/Rodgers might have a shot at beating them.

I can't see anyone in the AFC beating them.

Tennessee could IF Henry runs wild and they control the clock. Buffalo could, I guess, because they're really explosive on offense and their defense has the potential to be pretty good. But yeah, KC is the prohibitive favorite in the AFC.

NO showed that they can hang with them though. A healthy Brees plays a lot better than that and the D obviously was pretty tough.

Green Bay is super explosive too and maybe could handle a shoot-out with them.

didn’t Dabo change his stance on player pay?
ehhh sort of. He thinks the scholarship is the pay. He has said he is open to things changing. But some of his quotes are also ‘i pulled myself up by my boostraps so should they”

And Im not so sure how much is just PR posturing after he got slammed a few years back

Dabo:
“Let’s scrap the whole college model,” he says. “The average income in America is $43,000. Let’s pay them 100 grand. We can do that. But they gotta pay for college, like normal people, right? You’re 18 years old, you get 100 grand, you pay for your apartment, you pay for your cable, you pay for your food, you pay for your medical, you get insurance, you pay for your books, fees, and you pay for your tutor. You could be fired too. How would that work? How would that go over? That would be a train wreck.”

His speech is halted by the demands of a job that never stops; he has a meeting to lead.

It’s a TD but why not 85
Yeah let's throw into a teeny-tiny window to a well-covered guy instead of throwing to the guy with nobody anywhere near him, who also happens to be right in front of you.

Ok, whatever. TD sure, but still. Terrible decision.
