Honestly the Dallas offense has so much talent, and the NFC East is so bad, I think it’s totally possible Dalton can get them into the playoffs.

Not convinced. McCarthy is such an awful coach. I'm a Packer fan and I was thrilled when they dumped him.

I was commenting to a friend earlier during the game that this is the worst coached Cowboys team I’ve seen hands-down. That includes the Campo era too which was mostly just a lack of talent. The sheer number of mental mistakes this team has made so far and just plain bad fundamentals is astonishing.

If they improve significantly on that front, then McCarthy can save a little face and say lack of preseason played a role. But I’m not holding my breath.

this might be the worst slate of Sunday games I've ever seen.
Five of the ten games this afternoon had one team favored by more than a touchdown, but only three of those five big favorites won, and one of those wins was on a last-second FG. And Colts-Browns and Eagles-Steelers were more entertaining than the final scores would indicate. I’d say today’s slate exceeded my modest expectations.

Not sure what has gotten into Minnesota but their defense is all over Seattle. I think they mentioned they were working in a lot of new players on that side, probably took them a bit to get up to speed.

Cook is the best back in the NFL right now, right?

I’m watching this game and I feel mentally ill in that I keep questioning if this is reality or if I am hallucinating.

Feels like Vikes needed to be up more than 2 scores here. Still think Seattle wins this despite how the Vikes D looks. Going to bed soon, looking forward to seeing how wrong I am in the morning.

I'm confused. All of a sudden we've got the Purple People Eaters.
Give the Vikings a lot of credit, their secondary isn't giving up squat. Seahawks need to go to a lot of short slants and outs. Edit: They also need to send Olson and/or Dissly up the middle to occupy those 2 deep safeties.

Looks like a groin with Cook. Is it just me or does it seem to be a ridiculous number of groin injuries this year?

I don't know the numbers but with the guys not being able to be in the building getting work in with the trainers I wouldn't be shocked if the number of soft tissue/flexibility-related injuries is up

Yup. Definitely looks like sprained groin for Cook. They have falcons and then bye so he’s definitely off at least a couple weeks, if not longer
