I think Mahomes is incredible but I do wonder if the shelf life of his style of play will limit him in the future. The creating time by running around in the backfield is all well and good but I have to imagine he is going to take some big hits at some point. We shall see. I do enjoy watching it though.

Mahomes takes an occasional hit he shouldn’t when he runs the ball, but I think he‘s better than most at avoiding big hits in the pocket.

49ers were supposed to have one of the best young coaches in Shanahan, same for GM in Lynch, and a loaded squad and they look like absolute shit. I mean, how many injuries can they have?

The defense is still pretty banged up.

They are just now about fully loaded on offense with Jimmy G, Mostert, Deebo, and Kittle all back together.

The secondary is missing Sherman, and they are missing Bos, Solomon, Ford, and more. I am starting to root for them to tank. Their schedule gets pretty hard from now on.

Thanks for the summary. Seemed like it should be time to shine, not tank. Injuries, huh.
