On October 24, 1983, the Giants and Cardinals played one of the worst games ever.
I watched that entire thing, thinking I'll never see a worse game. Still haven't. The game thread was epic

When the plague finally wipes out football, that's all we'll have left.
A gamethread while watching grainy video of a shitty game from 40 years ago.

Also found this gem from the paper of record:

In a poorly played game with an incredibly bad finish, the Giants and Cardinals played a 20-20 overtime tie tonight.

Jets opened with a nice drive but couldn’t get the end zone. Becton already whipped some dude to the ground. Really fun to watch him smash people. Hope he can stay on the field.

Is this the first time the Jets have had a lead in 2020?

I always enjoy seeing a 2-0 on the scoreboard. Hopefully neither the Cowboys nor the Football Team score again.

So even though they told the media differently, the OC is calling the game today, not Gase.

Has Houston's opening schedule been the hardest in history? They have played 5 of the top 10 teams in the league this year during the first 7 games...I bet they finish 8-8 for the year.

Why wasn't Josh Allen called for grounding for throwing the ball into the stands?

I wondered the same thing but it all worked out

Edit: CBS is having a real bad game, have had graphics and roster wrong at times

F the Albany TV market once again

Getting Bills Jets instead of Pitt Tenn

Getting Dallas Wash instead of either Saints Panthers at 1 or Tompa Vegas at 4:25

Thank goodness I get Pats at least finally. And thank goodness this is the last weekend I will complain about it.
