This guy was talking big about a move last year that never materialized. I’d have to go back and find it, but it would be tough to sort through the rest of his bs.

I’d love to believe it. Would have to be other sources before I can let myself be ready to be hurt again.

I don't believe this for an instant, but I would imagine any deal would have to begin with Gilmore, no?

Cutting or trading Jones would incur about 58M in dead money on the Falcon’s cap. They have about 3-4M in cap space, and there is no apparent way for them to clear another 55M unless they cut well over half the active roster.

Aside from whether this makes sense football-wise for Atlanta, they can’t make any Jones trade during this league year under the cap rules.

I do believe if they asked for Gilmore in return for a 31-year-old, banged-up Julio Jones that the next noise they'd hear is a dial tone.

Is Mo Chanel a reliable source?
Not that I can see. His move appears to be throwing stuff out there, and then trumpeting his "calls" when it happens (usually his call is claiming something that is very likely and general, like... Brady won't re-sign with the Patriots, or Celtics will sign Kemba) then saying he had it first, because he said it was done (as opposed to the rumors from reputable people that he was pulling from). Also appears to have tons of just made up nonsense.

And that, as they say, is that

Which one should we start with? Stefon Diggs to the Patriots or Jalen Ramsey to the Chiefs?

Note: I actually think Atlanta could spread the hit over two years since the trade is after June 1st, but the point remains that this is a cap non-starter.

I wonder why Mo is a "former" producer at NFL Live

I'm sorry you even had to take the time to type this out.

So you're saying there's a chance?

Wow, Falcons can't trade Julio for cap reasons so that means they have to trade Ridley to us instead. Even better!

Could the money work if they get a 3rd team (eg, Arizona and Larry Fitzgerald) involved?

The real question is ... Will this prevent TSC from quoting that guy again?

Where would they even play him? With Gunner back, they have too many receivers as it is.

Did they really need to find an "NFL Insider" to realize this trade was never possible given the cap ramifications?
Someone posted the rumor here ... and we're supposed to be smarter than the average Bears fan
