Yeah, Sam Mills was a force of nature. Loved that guy.

Football Reference agrees with you. I'm not versed in their HOF metric, but it has Polamalu just a tick below their threshold - while above several Hall of Fame defensive backs.

Their metric would rate Faneca as a first ballot choice.
