Jalen Green's first 39 games: .377/.290/.838, 14.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 2.3 TO.
Jalen Green's last 21 games: .479/.400/.692, 18.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.6 TO.

That 21/22 class has a chance to be one of the top 5-10 drafts if players develop right.

I was thinking about this the other day when some clown “analyst” rants about how Draymond is the most important player on the Warriors…..GTFOH.
yeah, Draymond is really important, they are not a top team without him.... Curry is a top 30 all-time guy, they are garbage without him

This is the hard hitting analysis I love!

Also, Celtics are my first team but living most of my life in AZ, suns are my second. Can anyone give me a reason to think they’re anything other than incredible? They’ve been a buzzsaw all season, but not a ton of discussion here. I only got really into basketball during lockdown two years ago, so many people here are more knowledgeable than I, but it seems wild to me that a 61-14 team is discussed so little

Mobley sprained an ankle. Injuries just destroyed a fun season for CLE, they probably don't make the playoffs at this point.

Jordan Poole with his 14th straight 20+ point game. Where’s the rest of the JP Fan Club from two years ago? Kids a professional scorer.

I’m here, lol. One of the few bright spots in Warrior-land right now, along with Kuminga and Moody. What’s impressive to me is not just the PPG, but also that, like Steph, he seems to get more efficient with higher usage. He’s putting up .647 true shooting in March (.597 on the season) while averaging 24.6 ppg. And the elite FT stroke (.918 on the season, #2 in the league) suggests to me he’ll continue to straighten out the three ball as he develops.

if the team weren’t in such shambles right now (defense a mess, no full-size centers, Dray looking hurt/fat, Klay on-and-off, Steph still on the shelf, Wiggins fully regressing to his Timberwolves self, e.g.) I’d be more excited for Poole’s coming out party in the playoffs. Dubs have been the anti-Celtics this season.

Bucks up 27-24 after one quarter. Both teams at full strength. Harden has his burst tonight, at least for 12 minutes. 13 points in first quarter.

Lakers getting run off the court by the Mavs after 1Q. Missing the playoffs entirely would be AMAZING.

LeBron sitting tonight really seems like the white flag for the Lakers. They need every win they can get. I thought Davis was supposed to be back for this stretch run? Is he just done for the season? I think it would be kind of funny for the Lakers to have to play in the play-in game after LeBron and Co. already threw in the towel.

Didn't you see Westbrook rallying the team earlier to play harder on defense??
I missed that but I did see him get an uncontested dunk because he never got back on defense and also drill a three. He and Monk are the entire Lakers team as far as I can tell.

Maybe that's Bulls country? That doesn't seem right since it's so close to Milwaukee but it's the only thing I could think of.

Bucks win 118-116 as Giannis rejects Embiid’s layup with 1.6 left. Great game to watch. If this is a playoff preview, I’m in.

Awesome end to Bucks-Sixers, with Giannis rejecting an Embiid putback with 2 seconds left to effectively end it. The refs initially called it goaltending, which would have tied it, but reversed it and called a jump ball at center court even though the ball clearly went out of bounds off of Giannis,

Last night in a similar setting, the refs reversed a goaltending call on a Hauser layup and awarded the Raps the ball. I have no idea why that was not also a jump ball.

They mentioned AD is planning on playing Friday or Sunday but it may be too late

I think they have the Pels Friday night, which given the scarcity of home games left and the strength of the Lakers schedule, is pretty much a must win for the Lakers. The other night, at the close of the Pels’ comeback win, their pbp man closed with something like “well, AD, that’s all folks,” a callback to AD’s infamous outfit at the end of his run in New Orleans.

it would be so delicious if the Pelicans could administer the coup de grace and strengthen their own lottery odds with Davis on the court.

If Kawhi is next both off these tournaments are going to be wild with the Clippers and Nets in as a low seed.
So far Norman Powell is the buzz for next up. Radio silence on Kawhi but with him you could tell me tomorrow or 2025. I'd believe either

Somehow PG only got credited for 4 steals tonight. He was in on at least 3-4 more.

I held my breath for what seemed to be 15 seconds after Bird passed to him. I was certain that was rolling out.
It’s one of those sports plays where you know the outcome but still get nervous watching the replay. Edelman’s miracle catch is another one for me. Still expect Alford to intercept the pass.

Jalen Green is going to be a stud in this league if he can keep his head straight. He’s a young Anthony Edwards.

Oh for F’s sake. Warriors guy just launched a 3 at the half court line with 6 seconds left. This product is so awful.

Phoenix was about to foul him at halfcourt. Good work by then in backing off as they saw him about to launch.

Down 3 with no timeouts, and Phoenix was about to foul intentionally. Might have been the best look from 3 they were gonna get.

"Warriors guy": 38 points (on 22 fga), 9 rebounds, 7 assists against the best team in the league.

Tough loss, but at least Dray looked like Dray, and the team looked like they could be interesting in the playoffs with Steph added to it. Just gotta keep playing Poole 36+ MPG, and figure out how to rein in Klay without messing with his ego.

Is there any chance we can get a repeat of the George Gervin/David Thompson scoring race on the final day of the season? The only problem is that, aside from LeBron, Milwaukee and Philly have bigger hurdles ahead of them. I just want someone to put up 100+ if that’s what is necessary. Imagine the backlash if LeBron smashes that number to win the scoring title as the Lakers are in the lottery? Whoa

The funnier thing is not 100 (which would be REALLY hard) but if he scores like 82 points to surpass Kobe. That would make Laker fans heads spin.
