Not sure I've seen that. Runners tag up at 1st and 3rd when Yelich catches second out in left and throws to 2nd. Runner going to 2nd tagged out before other runner can touch home.

In a series where six total runs have been scored in previous two games... colossal fuckup.

I hate it. It's so difficult, because I really enjoy the players on this Braves team, because they are fun to watch, but I just can't root for their fans to be happy about anything.
Should have renamed them the Hammers

Lorenzo Cain looks hurt, down on the ground after ploughing into the wall. He's coming out. JBJ? He is holding his left pectoral muscle. Not good.
Edit: I was wrong. He's staying in the game, for now.

Hit the back of his head on the ground, might have knocked him out cold, causing him to lose the ball. That fucking sucks.

Nice play Swanson!
Saves one maybe two with diving stop

Brewers pitcher taken out with a 4 inning shutout for a PH (Vogelbach)

Wiscansin, by way of Attleboro
This was always Milwaukee's greatest fear. They have arms that match up with anyone, rotation and bullpen, and have been as advertised, but when the offense goes cold, it does so very quickly.

You had to go to a PH there, but an absolute killer to get nothing across and burn Peralta who was really rolling imo. Really rough BABIP luck that inning. Honestly, going back to Saturday's ninth inning and the double play off the bat of Maile it's been bad BABIP for Milwaukee.

Not sure I can take the NL rules seriously after having seen that, having to take out a starter who's rolling like that

Thing is ... they didn't have to take Peralta out. It would only have been the second out. They didn't to see if they could get lightning to strike. Sad irony, that the Braves did basically the same thing and it worked

Yeah, they didn't need to lift Peralta, but counsell and his squad are pressing hard to get anything on the board.

Incredibly easy inning for Chavez.
0 for the series with RISP. All their runs came on one pitch in Game 1. They sure as hell need to press at this point.

Despite his horrible season at the plate, at what point do they let JBJ hit and see if he can conjure some of his playoff magic?

Unbelievably bad baserunning by the Braves.
You must have missed the play on Friday when Soler took off for home on contact on a sharply hit ball to first with no outs and Freeman on 1B in the first. The ball was hit to Tellez who tagged first and threw home for the force. It wasn't close. The Braves had Riley and Duvall coming up after Albies.

I haven’t been able to watch these games, but following along it seems like the Braves have had a terrible baserunning error at least once a game and have stranded a million guys

What just happened???

How is it possible not to over turn that?

edit - apparently it is not reviewable (which makes no sense)

I'll be the one to say it: if Jeter had done it, not only would the announcers never mention it hit the ground, but it would be on highlight reels for the next three millennia.
