Who is the golfer with the neck tattoo? Watching TGC coverage of this week’s tourney (Bermuda) at a bar and they were interviewing a guy with two neck tats, a hat with a “P” on it, and a crazy-ass shirt. I noticed the lack of corporate sponsors; my wife noticed the tats.

The Tour anounced some enhancements to PGA Tour Live today. It's shifting to ESPN+ this season, starting in January. They will have the Hawaii tournaments which is something they havne't had in the past.

Additionally, there will be 4 streams available for each tournament (starting with the American Express). There will be a main broadcast feed which will run like your typical network coverage. They'll jump around, follow the leaders, etc. Then there is a marquee group which will show all the shots from all the players in the group. They'll also have a featured groups stream, which is the same as PGA Tour Live has always been. I'm a little unclear on what the difference is between a marquee group and a featured group, but I guess we'll find out. Finally, a featured hole feed. When the TV coverage window begins, it gets stripped down to featured groups and featured holes.

All in all though, this seems promising as a golf fan.

Even more promising is that it's part of my already existing ESPN+ subscription.

Apparently Michael Jordan owns a private golf club called The Grove XXIII. Golf Digest has an overview HERE and it's a fairly unique looking track. Apparently the carts are set up to go 35 mph and food is delivered onto the course via drone. But better apparently is the member list. The roster from the member-guest leaked last week:
Got some really big names there. And a few weird ones like AJ Pierzynski? I'm wondering who is a member who didn't play in that tournament.

I know someone who’s played there. The experience is even better than it sounds.

My brother and a number of my friends have played there. My brother has been close friends with MJ for years, and plays in his (now Jeter's) celebrity tournament every year. The course itself is really nice, but nothing that would compare with the great courses in the country. The amenities and service, and experience are all next level though. Word was Jordan built it in order to have a course in which he determined which of his friends would have membership, and he can make the rules. Lots of gambling at that place.
