I hate Bryson, but I gotta admit that was pretty awesome.

Also brb checking on Spieth’s current odds at Augusta

My rooting interests are now firmly in the ABB category - anybody but Bryson. Guy’s mannerisms and perpetual drama are tiresome. The hat that he only wears in competition is part of a manufactured image that I just don’t like. And the TV folks constantly referring to him as the mad scientist is ridiculous.

I am very much with you.

And him missing that latest putt makes me happy.

The hate for Bryson is silly. He's good for the game overall and he's got a personality... which I suppose is the real problem people have with him.

There's much worse on the tour, like Patrick Reed.

Have you not heard Bryson "debate" with a rules official? That's reason enough to hate him.
I have heard it, whatever. Literally all of the guys on tour try and play the rules guys at some time or another. He's a professional, he should _always_ be looking for every single competitive advantage and using the resources available to him. If that means trying to lawyer the rules in his favor then go for it.

I'm just watching with a beer, what does it matter to me if he wants to argue that red ants are burrowing animals? Who cares really?

Bryson sucks and he's a poser and thirsty for attention. And he's a petulant baby when he doesn't get his way. I despise him.

But he's great for the tour and great to watch. I like when he's playing. Patrick Reed, on the other hand, makes me want to puke every time he's on the screen.

I can absolutely understand why you think he's entertaining. At the same time, this isn't pro wrestling; he really is the clueless dick he plays on television. (I mean, he petulantly refused to tee off on 1 yesterday until he had a fan removed.) So, it's absolutely fair for people to hate Bryson, as he's utterly hateable.

Bryson moaning about the bunkers.
And then next hole hits a crappy sand shot and the announcers all pile on about how wedge shaft is too long and he doesn’t hold his hands low enough. Seemed like a clear response of “don’t blame the bunkers you jerk”.

I have to say, the "Get in the hole" assholes absolutely suck. They definitely detract from the viewing experience.

Advantage no crowds.
