Biggest choke in the history of golf if they don't do it. ( I wonder what kind of odds I can get on Europe? )
Getting that last point to get them to 11 was just huge. 10-6 is doable. I don’t think 11-5 is.
How will Stricker structure tomorrow? Do you put somebody like Harris English up against Rahm provided they put him out first and hope your bigger guns have easier matchups? I'd do something like this. Sprinkle in the big names up and down the order so you don't overload the start and have your weaker players bringing up the rear.

Rory has talked a lot in recent weeks and months about how exhausted he's been feeling - both from the grind of professional golf and of being a first-time parent. He desperately needs at least three months off from the game to just be a father and husband and to otherwise recharge his batteries.
As someone who considers the Ryder Cup not very important, I was hoping for some better matchups today to make me want to tune in. I expect the Americans to steamroll.
I guess the must see matchup is Cantlay vs an in form Lowry. Would have loved for the stars to line up for Rahm vs DJ.
Sergio vs Bryson should also be fun.

How do the pairings work? Does one team submit first and the other gets to choose the matchup? Is there a snake draft? Each team submits 1-12 and we find out the matchups after?
Each captain puts their list in sealed envelopes, then they are opened to revealed the pairings
First hole was looking grim for Cantlay, but it ended better as Lowry didn't make the putt and Cantlay had a great bunker shot to get up and down. And a nice birdie putt for Schauffele to halve the second.

I honestly can't figure out if I love him or hate him, but I can't take my eyes off him and I think he's great for golf.
I definitely don't love him. . . .yet.
But I used to despise him. And I don't anymore. Now my hate is solely aimed at where it should be, that cheating fuck Patty Reed.
