How will Stricker structure tomorrow? Do you put somebody like Harris English up against Rahm provided they put him out first and hope your bigger guns have easier matchups? I'd do something like this. Sprinkle in the big names up and down the order so you don't overload the start and have your weaker players bringing up the rear.

English
DeChambeau
Berger
Spieth
Koepka
Thomas
Scheffler
Morikawa
Johnson
Finau
Schauffele
Cantlay

Sunday singles pairings are out. Europe undoubtedly going for early momentum sending out their 5 best first.
1. Xander vs. Rory
2. Cantlay vs. Lowry
3. Scheffler vs. Rahm
4. Bryson vs. Sergio
5. Morikawa vs. Hovland
6. DJ vs. Casey
7. Brooks vs. Wiesberger
8. Finau vs. Poulter
9. JT vs. Hatton
10. English vs. Westwood
11. Spieth vs. Fleetwood
12. Berger vs. Fitz

Really looking forward to matches 2-3-4-5.

Europe was forced to front-load, and it really shows how much more depth the U.S. has this time around. If you count Casey as a top-flight player, look at who the U.S. has going in matches 7-12.

As someone who considers the Ryder Cup not very important, I was hoping for some better matchups today to make me want to tune in. I expect the Americans to steamroll.

I guess the must see matchup is Cantlay vs an in form Lowry. Would have loved for the stars to line up for Rahm vs DJ.

Sergio vs Bryson should also be fun.

Just curious, why don’t you consider the Ryder Cup to be very important?

How do the pairings work? Does one team submit first and the other gets to choose the matchup? Is there a snake draft? Each team submits 1-12 and we find out the matchups after?

Each captain puts their list in sealed envelopes, then they are opened to revealed the pairings

They got the tee boxes moved up today on #1? Both X and Rory pretty much drove the green. Didn’t see that the first 2 days

First hole was looking grim for Cantlay, but it ended better as Lowry didn't make the putt and Cantlay had a great bunker shot to get up and down. And a nice birdie putt for Schauffele to halve the second.
