Not quite the athlete that KD is, but I rolled my ankle playing tennis 5 weeks ago. Hurt like a motherfucker, was convinced I would be sidelined for a while, but walked it off and finished my match. Went to orthro next day - torn ligaments. In a walking boot for 4 weeks. Am just now starting to move around OK.I know…..and then he continued his workout without a limp for several minutes. Where are our docs here?
Now, I immediately was limping and took me 10 minutes to continue playing, so not exact parallel but I think we have seen enough time where these uber athletes get hurt, continue playing, then are shut down for weeks/months
