Have to get to the bucket. This isn’t the Duke team of the past four games. They need to get aggressive because they aren’t a team that can live behind the arc.

Weight is genius for not having them lose by 30 today. Preventing Kansas from the fast break is 100% the right move. If Kansas shoots like that, they can’t be beat.
After today, I’m convinced that Wright is the best coach in basketball.
no clue why Self didn’t go to McCormick more oftenas Nova is basically playing 6 deep.
I actually thought Nova was playing right into the hands of Kansas in not slowing the pace in the 1H and was questioning what Wright was thinking.

Speaking of coaching……when is a big most susceptible to fouling? The correct answer is when they are fatigued. So Kaye leaves Johns in with 3 fouls when he’s clearly running on fumes. Makes zero sense.

Okay, that's fair. I can't imagine any non-alum rooting for them.
My mom grew up in NC (I was born there, but moved away very young) as a diehard UNC fan, and raised me the way she was raised: her two favorite teams are UNC and whoever is playing against the Wolfpack. Duke's her second favorite team (hence mine as well), Wake is #3.

For people whose fandom cement set pre-1990, that's not that uncommon.

Wtf refs? You have the entire timeout to go to the monitor…..so you wait until the teams are back on the floor lined up to shoot FTs? Good god

Carolina needs 2nd half UCLA Caleb
He's had 8 or so points in just a few minutes. Did he do much more against UCLA? That game he seemed to make a bunch of critical threes late to close it out. Hopefully he can do the same tonite.

Bacot isn't good offensively but holy crap that guy is an incredible rebounder. He gets EVERYTHING on both ends of the floor.

Ben Wallace is in the hall of fame

he doesn’t need to do much on offense
Agreed. He's not as good defensively as Wallace was but man on the glass? Unreal. In the tournament so far:

vs Marquette: 10 reb
vs Baylor: 16 reb
vs UCLA: 15 reb
vs St. Peter's: 22 reb
vs Duke: 19 reb and counting

AVG: 16.4 and going up
