I didn't realize that the winner of the 7-8 games automatically gets the 7 seed and then the winner of the next game gets the 8 seed. I think I probably would favor a rule that says that once the 2 playoff teams are decided based on the playoff games they get seeded according to their regular season records. So, if the Nets lose tomorrow but then win their game against the 9-10 winner, they would still be 7 seed not the 8 seed.

The fun starts tonight at 7pm, when the Cavaliers try to cut down the Nets in Brooklyn. Both teams were 44-38, but the Nets won the tiebreaker. Winner plays Boston on Sunday.

It would obviously be incredibly unlikely, but Playoff Rondo sending the Nets home would be tremendous.

Never doubt the heart of a champion. It would be so Rondo for him to turn in a 15 assist masterpiece where he bangs four or five threes and grabs a handful of steals.

Well, he would only be sending them to the game against the 9/10 winner, but yes, that would be awesome.

Kyrie’s only defense is to hack the shit out of whoever has the ball and trust the ref not to call it.

Hope the Celts get a better whistle than this Cavs team is getting going to the basket.

Oh.. ok. I haven’t been watching the Cavs at all and he just seemed a bit stiff out there in his first few minutes.

Simmons claps tepidly, thinking “that looks hard I hope they don’t make me go out there.”

Man, Durant is doing anything he wants to, offense and defense. I don't know why anyone wants to see Brooklyn in the first round.

Well this one is over. Shows you the strengths and weaknesses of each team.

The Nets can score at an insane rate no matter how well you play D. They'll give up runs the other way, but CLE just doesn't have the juice to keep up

Here’s a Simmons question: is there any player in NBA you’d want in your foxhole less than him?

guessing answer is no. Last one I might prefer Simmons to is Gilbert Arenas

I’m about to turn this volume off if these clowns are going to continue talking about Ben Simmons and these playoffs. There’s next to zero chance of him playing this year. Full Stop please!!!

Arenas comes packing and will rush headlong at the enemy, buying you time to escape. Just tell him they owe him money.

KD rolls an ankle and this Nets team is done. They are so good with him, and so bad without

Cavs defense was a hot mess Q1.... devastating injuries crushed them this season

The question really is if we can guard Kyrie. Nobody can actually stop Durant he’s too long and too good a shooter but Kyrie as we all know can be far more feast or famine.
